Thank you to the parents who attended theMaths Curriculum Evening at school. Weappreciate your input and it helps us withfurther planning with our goals in Mathematics.There are to be further Workshops next termon Numeracy to help parents understand theway Numeracy is taught in our schools and togive opportunities to ask questions and givepractical ideas of how to help your children at

home.

Thank you for your co-operation in continuing toget your children to school on time, especiallyon these dark and frosty mornings. I too havehad many early morning meetings where I amhaving to negotiate the wintery elements. Todate the children’s attendance continues to bevery good despite the time of year.

The School Disco is on this Friday. We arelooking forward to this end of term treat withthe ‘Black and White’ theme.

CELLPHONESAny cellphones brought to school MUST be handed intothe Office on arrival at school and collected at the endof the school day. The School takes no responsibility

for valuables such as MP3 Players, I- Pods, Cellphones,Jewellery etc. brought to school. These items are to

be left at home.

Cellphones are not to be used during the day at schoolexcept for the ones left at the Office for a special

purpose/reason.

BELL TIMESA reminder that the first bell goes at 5 to 9 in themorning with the second bell at 9.00am for the promptstart of school. Accounts have been sent out. Forms are available from theOffice if you would like to set up an Automatic Payment.The School Donation is voluntary, but as you are aware,schools rely on the money collected from these donations toprovide more resources for your children’s education.Payment of this is much appreciated. Our costs haveincreased during the past year with rising petrol costs andthe increase in GST. Many thanks to those who havealready paid.
