FORMULA ONE

North India Regional competition

was held at Shiv Nadar School,

Noida on January 17, 2020. Out

of 36 teams, Team Mission

Velocity from DPSG, was selected

to participate in the national round.

This round will be held at Amity

University in the month of April.

ODYSSEY OF THE MIND

The students of Delhi Public School

Ghaziabad participated in the

Odyssey of the Mind competition

held at Mayoor School, Noida on

January 25, 2020.

Odyssey of the Mind is an

international educational programme

that provides creative problem-

solving opportunities to students.

Team members apply their creativity

to solve problems that range from

building mechanical devices to

presenting their own interpretation of

literary classics.

The team of Problem 3 (Classics:

The Effective Detective) won *Gold Medal* and Problem 5 (Gibberish or Not) won the

*Spontaneous* Problem Trophy. The students exhibited critical thinking, creative thinking

and problem solving skills in the competition.

8th Challenge Cup Inter school Basketball Tournament was held at DPSG, wherein the boys’

team was declared the 1st Runner up and the Girls’ team was declared the 2nd Runner up.

1st All India Roller Skating

Championship was held at

Amritsar on December 21,

2019 wherein the Divyansh

Kaushik, Class VIIIG bagged

two silver medals; Chaitanya

Dhooper, VIIID and Moksha

Sharma, VIII G won a silver

medal each.
