Think Water Darwin is part of an industry leading franchise group with 49+ locally owned stores across Australia and New Zealand. Each individual franchise is supported with national supply arrangements, marketing support and training. Think Water stores offer a wide range of irrigation and water management products and provides design, installation and maintenance services for the Agriculture, Commercial, Industrial and the Residential markets.

In 2006, Delta Electrics NT Pty Ltd created a standalone water business, Delta Water NT Pty Ltd. Delta Water NT Pty Ltd purchased a local Darwin business trading as Turf and Irrigation Darwin and on 8 May 2007 the business began trading as Think Water Winnellie. Delta Electrics Pty Ltd sold its water division, inclusive of all sales, parts and service activities to Think Water Winnellie. Delta Water NT Pty Ltd exchanged contracts with H20 Pty Ltd in May 2011 to purchase retail stock and goodwill from the business and building works commenced for the second Think Water store at Virginia with its opening in September 2011.

Think Water Winnellie and Think Water Virginia now have almost 20 staff combined, including an in-house Certified Irrigation Designer.

Think Water Darwin specialises in supplying water efficient pumping, irrigation, pressure cleaners and water purification and filtration systems. Think Water Winnellie and Virginia have successfully provided services to all facets of the industry throughout the Northern Territory.

Think Water Darwin specialises in the supply, installation and service of water pumping products, irrigation products, commercial and industrial pressure cleaners and water purification products. With an in-house Certified Irrigation Designer, Think Water Darwin also specialises in project management of irrigation projects.

Our role is to enable clients to meet their objectives and successfully complete their projects. This means we take the time to clearly understand your project objectives and assess whether the project brief will deliver those objectives. We propose alternative solutions where required and design strategies to achieve client objectives, taking into account feasibility, risk, approvals and longevity.

The key markets we are capable of servicing include:

1. AGRICULTURAL We have been servicing the agriculture market with pump systems, monitoring and reporting systems and bore water systems.

2. DOMESTIC Providing a range of products and services for households including pumping, filtration, tanks, pool supplies and much more.

3. LANDSCAPE We provide a full range of irrigation and water management systems for landscape projects including parks, ovals and golf courses.

4. COMMERCIAL Design, supply and maintain water pump systems for small to large commercial buildings.

5. MINING/INDUSTRIAL We provide a range of water management systems for industrial applications including wastewater, pumping systems, pipes and more.

All of our team members undertake extensive training in irrigation and water management as well as training from leading industry suppliers ensuring our clients receive the best advice on their project.

Our Stores

KEY STAFF

Adam Stockwell is the founder and Managing Director of Think Water Darwin. He has over 20 years experience in designing, installing and managing irrigation projects for a wide array of customers.

Kelly Stockwell manages the finance and business admin for both

of the stores. She has the experience and expertise to keep the business under control, with her outstanding

skills in managing the finances and back office support.

Colin McTaggart has over 25 years experience in the irrigation industry and has helped many industrial projects with their pump system design and installation. He was previously the Branch Manager for Think Water Winnellie, however, he is now the Business Development Manager dealing with government tenders, power, and water and aboriginal corporations.

Craig Moffatt is the Key Account Manager for mining, dealing with large scale projects, special fabrication and mine

requirements.

RATES

In-house labour rate: $110 + GST per hour during normal business hours. Minimum charge of one hour applies. On-site labour rate: $110 + GST per hour during normal business hours. Minimum charge of one hour applies.

Think Water Winnellie and Virginia showrooms are open Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Acacia Hills Farm

CLIENT: Acacia Hills FarmLOCATION: Acacia Hills, DarwinBROAD SCOPE: Calypso mangoes have a prominent name in the Australian fruit market and are produced at the Acacia Hills Farm. At Think Water Darwin, we designed, supplied and installed an iNTELLiPUMP system that keeps the mango trees healthy and fresh. iNTELLiPUMP applies the correct amount of water at the correct time which reduces crop stress and susceptibility to disease and pests, plus increases the crop’s long-term sustainability and profitability. The farmers can now enjoy irrigation scheduling and control software - installed on a PC, it monitors, sends control commands and automates irrigation schedules. [QR CODE LINK TO VIDEO]

Marrarra Christian College

Rural Block Bore Water & Filtration System

CLIENT: Marrara Christian CollegeLOCATION: Marrara, DarwinBROAD SCOPE: At the Marrarra Christian College, the irrigation system they were using for their ovals was outdated which meant that there was dry grass and donut rings all over the ovals. Think Water Darwin designed and installed a new oval irrigation system and pump station, which included a 220,000L storage tank. The college can now enjoy an automated system that can be controlled from anywhere and leaves their ovals looking lush and green.

CLIENT: ......LOCATION: ....BROAD SCOPE: Think Water Darwin were engaged to install a home package which consisted of a few different elements that made this rural home’s water great to drink. They installed a bore pump which pumped water into the water tank, a variable speed booster pump, to pump water out of the tank to the home (with constant pressure). They then installed a filtration system and water softener to reduce harmful bacteria from the water, ensuring it’s clean, great-tasting water.
