V-Flange Ring
V-grooveThe V-flange ring has a patent pen-ding V-shaped groove in the innerdiameter. This groove ensures thatforce is distributed evenly on theflange adapter when mounting sothat the flange can‘t flex. This plastic-oriented design prevents the pipingcomponents in a flange connectionfrom creeping, as is often the casewith steel flanges.The V-groove also maintains a longerlasting torque on the collar. Whatthis means for you is a better flangeconnection.

Strong arguments
Application areasThe V-flange can be used at ambienttemperatures up to 176°F. Themedium temperature is dictated bythe choice of plastic piping system, i.e.PVC, CPVC, ABS, Beta PP or PE¢00.For systems which require steamsterilization (up to 275°F), for examplePVDF, the ambient temperature shouldnot exceed 104°F. The V-flange isultraviolet resistant for extendedservice life, especially when installedoutdoors.

V-Flange Ring
The V-flange ring from Georg Fischer isa state-of-the-art, corrosion-free, all-plastic flange, made of homopolymerfiberglass-reinforced polypropylene PP-H. This flange has been developed forconveying aggressive media, in appli-cations where safety, reliability andlongevity are of primary importance.
Resistance to corrosionand hydrolysisThe innovative design in fiberglass-reinforced polypropylenehomopolymer provides you with thereassurance of a very broad range ofchemical resistance in your plasticpiping system for aggressive media.The hydrolysis resistance – anotheradvantage of the V-flange – makesit possible for you to build thisflange into applications for whichthe traditional polyester flangewould be unsuitable.Free of joining seams, the PP-Vdemonstrates very little internalstress. Therefore the risk of stresscracking corrosion is reduced.You can depend on theV-flange in every situation!

InstallationPositioning cams make it easier to centerthe V-flange on the collar. This leavesthe bolt holes free so that you can insertthe bolts without any hindrance.
Bolt retainerSmall retainers in the bolt holes alsohelp to hold the bolts firmly in place.This feature is especially useful in verticalpipes and enables quicker installation.
HandlingYour skilled workers can easily carry10 flanges, size 9“(!), at a time to theinstallation site – thanks to the lighterweight of this flange. The symmetricdesign makes it impossible to install itthe wrong way.And there is the additional security ofbeing able to read all the important infor-mation, such as manufacturer, dimensions,standards, system type and material, evenafter installation.
