    Property Rights Agreement, were signed between Taiwan

    and China over the past 2 years

    Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) was

    signed on June 29th and took effect on September 12th,

    2010

    The signing of ECFA clearly shows the willingness of the

    two sides to further improve bilateral trade and investment

    relations, which is beneficial for economic prosperity and

    development across the Strait

    Costco (USA)

    Pingtung Agricultural Biotechnology Park Branch upgraded into a subsidiary, Compass Biotech Co., Ltd.

    Current annual output of 1,120 tons; second factory being built an annual output of 2,100 tons. The company produces cultivated edible mushrooms for the Taiwan and Mainland China markets.

    Currently investing in Taiwan to build Mirasol Display (reflective display technology) factory for mass production.

    Mirasol Display is an emerging display technology, with bistable e-paper features, ability to be clearly seen in sunlight, and energy saving benefits.

    Expected to begin production at end of 2012 with a first- phase investment of US$1bn.
