Asset Protection Devices (APDs)

• Contain 900MHZ Spread Spectrum Technology– Transmits frequencies 902 – 928MHZ

• 2,500 feet open-air transmission range

• Mounted on the asset or on a stationary asset (like a table)– 12’ coiled cable with 1”x1” sensor attaches APD to asset

• An alarm condition occurs when the sensor is removed, cord is cut or unplugged from APD enclosure

• 3VDC Lithium Photo Cell battery – expected life 3 to 5 years (depends on check-in interval)

• Constantly supervised meaning the transmitter checks in with alarm system; interval 10 sec – 1 hour – reports battery condition and state

• Tamper-proof enclosure, security screws on cover
