THE DAYS OF AWE – What About It?

QUESTION: I've heard a few mentions about the 'DAYS OF AWE', but don't recall seeing it in any of your articles. Have you mentioned it somewhere? Is it in Torah? Any oil bro?

ANSWER: About the ‘DAYS OF AWE’, this refers to the 10 days that start out the seventh moon, beginning with ‘Yom Teruah’ (yom = "day", teruah = "shout", as in the shout of the ram's

horn/shofar). The days between Yom Teruah and the 10th day, which is Yom Kaphar (covering, as in atonement, and often referred to as Yom Kippur because the Hebrew became corrupted by various

European alphabets). The 10th day, Yom Kaphar, is the most serious day of rest from work, and a day we put stress on our physical bodies through fasting from food from evening-to-evening. It is the day presumed to be when Yahuah makes His final decision as to our names being retained in the Scroll of Life. On this day in the year of Yobel (Jubilee, every 50th year) family inheritances of land are returned to their rightful owners. Debts are forgiven every 7 years on this 10th day of the 7th moon. It is not the beginning of the year, yet tradition has caused the term ‘Shanah Tobah’ to be a familiar phrase (where ‘shanah’ means ‘year’, and ‘tobah’ means ‘good’). Another anomaly is the term ‘Rosh haShanah’, meaning ‘head’ of the ‘year’ (Rosh = ‘head’, shanah = ‘year’). The ‘DAYS OF AWE’ are a time to be reflective, but still only tradition. We should be reflective EVERY day, since we walk in the Spirit, and are always guided by Yahusha, guided by His Torah within us. You can google this term and see how far the rabbit hole has progressed, but it is mostly a method of getting people to be more attentive to the fact that the unfulfilled festivals may be fulfilled at any given year at this time. For this reason I take no stand against it, but at the same time I don't have much to say about it based directly on Scripture.

In these seminars, the text is projected onto a screen for the whole room to be able to both hear and see the

Scriptures being discussed. The current projector is very small and dim, but was all we could afford 8 years ago. It

connects to a computer so we can project the PowerPoint slides, or any other visuals that help with the teaching

effort. We’ve been hoping to upgrade to a more appropriate LCD projector, one with at least 5000 lumens, so if

you may have the ability to find a used Sony, Sanyo, or Mitsubishi unit, we would very much appreciate any help

in obtaining one. I’ve called pawn shops in our area, but none of them have computer projection equipment.

5000 lumen LCD computer projectors are advertised on the Internet, but they all cost far more than we can

manage from our budget, and we don’t want to make any loans. With all the serious needs that so many people

have, this seems so unimportant in comparison; but soon there may be a surge in attendance at these seminars,

and the projector will become critical for those who need to “SEE” the evidence we are presenting to them from

Scripture. Also, many of these seminars are now being recorded on DVD with the help of Don Cantrell, so a better

projector will help make these video recordings clearer and brighter. Let us know if you are led to solve this

projector need for Yahusha’s work. Only one is needed, and if everyone lifted this burden with their little fingers

to accomplish this, or one came forward who has the strength to lift it all, it will make a huge impact on people’s

lives. These DVD’s are used as witnessing tools to reach many people all around the world.........................................LEW.

ANOTHER DIRECT QUESTION: What are we “led astray” from, and how is that accomplished?

ANSWER: We are led astray from the Torah, or Way of Yahuah, by means of teachers who add to, or take away from, (annul, cancel) the instructions. We must not fall from our steadfastness and dedication to Yahusha, and that which He has given us a love for, His Torah. He is the living Torah, our First Love, living within those He has chosen. 2 PET 3:17- 18:

“You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless, but grow in the favor and knowledge of our Master and Savior Yahusha Messiah. To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Amein.” 2COR 13:5: “Examine yourselves whether you are in the belief – prove yourselves. The “chosen ones” are those who guard the Way of Yahuah, and are of the household of belief, offspring of Abraham, and have become children of Yahuah. EXEGESIS & EISEGESIS ( Why We Don’t Always Agree On Everything )

EXEGESIS: TO INTERPRET, EXPLAIN FROM THE TEXT, AND CONTEXT

EISEGESIS: TO INTERPRET FROM ONE’S OWN IDEAS & BELIEFS

Exegesis dictionary definition (please excuse Pagan terminology):

“Exegesis is a theological term used to describe an approach to interpreting a passage in the Bible by critical analysis. Proper exegesis includes using the context around the passage, comparing it with other parts of the Bible, and applying an understanding of the language and customs of the time of the writing, in an attempt to understand clearly what the original writer intended to convey. In other words, it is trying to "pull out" of the passage the meaning inherent in it. The opposite of exegesis is eisegesis.”

There are many new winds of doctrine stemming from privately interpreting the Word of Yahuah, further dividing Yahusha’s Body, rather than uniting it. Debates abound on so many things, even among Natsarim:

1. How to transliterate His Name properly, 2. When the day begins, when the renewal of the moon occurs (some believe it is the FULL moon!), 3. How many hours are in a complete “day” (night/day cycle), 4. How many “persons” exist in Yahuah, 5. What to think about Kabbala, the Talmud, the “Enochian calendar”, “Solomon’s Testament”, or the “Noachic Laws”, 6. Inventing calendars, “lunar Sabbaths”, 7. “Holy” garments, 8. Racial divisions concerning who is “true Yisrael”, 9. Blaming everything on the Yahudim who brought “Babylonian” practices back to the land with them, 10. PaRDeS, the four “levels” of interpreting Scripture 11. Becoming busybodies and tale-bearers, spending time tearing down rather than building-up Yahusha’s Body

Long, tiresome explanations are a clue that there is something amiss about a teaching. If explanations become complicated to where a child cannot easily understand, drop it and get back on-task.

“When words are many, Transgression is not absent, but he who restrains his lips is wise.” PRO 10:19

Yahusha brought a message of restoration to Yisrael, and through His indwelling our viewpoint and will is replaced with His. He told us there would be divisions, and hatred concerning His Name. But He also commanded us to love one another, and by doing so all mankind would know that we were His talmidim. Those not loving their brothers and sisters are not His, and their fruits are manifest to all. Yahusha is not a “second person” of a “trinity”, but Creator of all things. He is the Creator of water, hashatan, all the malakim, the sun, moon, and stars, mankind, the Lake of Fire, the spirit within each of us, and the food you will eat in the next few hours. He is the Author of Life. His powers are unfathomable.

“I, I am יהוה, and besides Me there is no savior. I, I have declared and saved, and made known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are My witnesses,” declares יהוה, “that I am Ěl.” IS 43:11-12

“Remember the former events of old, for I am Ěl, and there is no one else – Elohim, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, „My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,‟ calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes My counsel, from a distant land. Indeed I have spoken it, I also bring it to pass. I have planned it, I also do it.” IS 46:9-11

A Call To All Prayer Warriors

"Yet even now," declares YaHUaH, "turn to Me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning." And tear your heart and not your garments and turn back to YaHUaH your Elohim, for He shows favour and is compassionate, patient and of great kindness and He shall relent concerning the evil. YO'EL 2:12

Come My Beloved in full battle array, Put on the full armour for this is the day, (EPH 6:11-18) Stand in the gap and intercede and pray (EZ 22:8). Sound the shofar and raise up your shield, For you are entering the enemy's battlefield.

Look around and see all those in chains ~ held captive to sin. Believing the lies and doctrines of demons and men. The whole world the enemy has worked hard to deceive. Spreading the lie you no longer have to obey Torah~just in your heart believe (2 THESS).

It is time to be strong and courageous and do not fear (DEUT 31:6). I AM with you always ~ I AM always near (DEUT 31:8...MATT

28:20). Be strong and courageous as I told you before, Put on the full armour for this is war.

You are My watchmen ~ with My Words in your mouth ~ you have been sent (EZ 3:17-21; 33:3-19). With the message ~ The Reign of YaHUaH is at Hand ~ It is time to Repent! (MATTHEW 3:1-2; 4:17)

It is time to lay down your own life and follow Me and take up your stake (MARK 8:34-35). A servant is not greater than his master and yes you will be hated for My Name's sake (JOHN 15:17-20).

I AM with you always and I will help you to stand. Abide in My Word and follow My commands (JOHN 14:15-22; 15:1-14). Stand firm ~ grounded in My Word ~ and do not retreat (LUKE 21:36). I AM

YaHUaH ~and in My Name ~ the enemy faces defeat! (1 SAMUEL 17:45-51)

Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have the power to stand against the schemes of the devil. Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. Because of this, take up the complete armour of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day and having done all, to stand. Stand, then, having girded your waist with Truth and having put on the breastplate of Righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Besorah of peace; above all, having taken up the Shield of Belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. Take also the helmet of Deliverance and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of ELOHIM, praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones... EPHESIANS 6:11-18

Watch then at all times and pray that you be counted worthy to escape all this about to take place and to stand before the Son of Adam. LUKE 21:36

We pay the price and check our hearts and minds for 10 days, so that when we are driven we are smooth, handle with the slightest touch, hug every curve and perform at top speeds; we are all charged up and responding to our Creator because we are `aligned’ with Him”.
