AdviceAlly

Q: If a guy cheated on someonewith me and now we’re together, can I really trust him not to do thesame with me?

A: In my opinion, if he cheated before itdoesn't mean that he'll cheat again. However,if he was married and cheated then I’dworry about him doing the same to you. Ifhe cheated on someone whom he was justdating, then the chances of him cheating onyou now are no greater than if he had metyou when he was single. I would keep thelines of communication open between youall and take things slow. You really need to beconfident in yourself and what you can bringto the table in this relationship though.Thinking about his past actions will causeyou to question the relationship, which willonly doom it. Make sure you let him knowyour hesitations and weigh the pros andcons about continuing the relationshipbefore you make it exclusive.

A business born six years ago just opened threemonths ago in Harlingen. The Pizzeria is acultural blend in pizza. It is the freshest intaste and the latest place to dine, hang out, catch up on work, or do lunch in town.

Not satisfied with processed items, Pizzeriamakes its own sauce, cheese blend, and dough. Now top that with any of their 16 toppings or 10gourmet toppings and you've got yourself thedefinition of a pizza supreme.

The Pizzeria offers more than just typical pepperoni andsausage toppings. Try broccoli, eggplant, or zuchini and youwon't believe you're eating vegetables.

Like a pizza panaderia, you can walk into Pizzeria and pickslices right off the showcase. With around $4 you can getyourself a slice and a drink!

Look into their gourmet pizzas like the chickenchipotle ranch, eggplant parmesan, the California, or the margarita. These are specialrecipes that the chef continues to perfect. New pizzas are always being created sodon't miss out!

We’ve all dreamt, pretended and even made whooshing noises like we hadthem. Stop lollygagging around and start saving up for the now available MartinJetpack. No, really you should start saving right away because one of these badboys will ring you up at about $90,000. So much for us poor folk living out ourchildhood dreams.

The Martin Jetpack by New Zealand’sMartin Aircraft is a 5 feet tall and 5.5 feetwide monster of a backpack that’s madefrom a carbon fiber composite and Kevlarfor the rotor. The jetpack runs on gasoline(Yeah, that’s safe.) and can get you along at anice 63 mph max for about 32 miles.Considering that it will be a bit noisy, it mightnot be ideal for late night burger runs.Although, should you choose to go cruisingat night and happen to nod off, the MartinJetpack is dummy proof and will even itselfout into a calm hover if the controls shouldbe released, which is pretty nifty because weall know there will be some goof out therewho will freak out at 45 mph and just let go.

In order to get your hands on one of these monstrosities of awesome, youhave to lay down a 10 percent deposit and hold off in a 12 month waiting period.Good news is that you don’t need a license to get airborne jetpack style, and thebad news is that other people don’t need a license to fly these into houses, gasstations and other public places.

OK, I know that I have discussed the Apple iPad here before, but there’s alot of buzz flying around this device that people said they would never buy. After only a few days of the iPad’s Wi-Fi version release the numbers of unitssold is said to have hit 300,000 on the release day and is reportedly creepingup on 500,000 units sold.

The news was flying all over Twitter as well with reviews, pros, cons, praises and complaints. The Apple App Store was ready for the release withmany developers releasing updates for iPad compatibility for free. However, some users were disgruntled at the sight of secondary apps being releasedwith the surprise that you had to buy them all over again!

And so another technology war rises with the release of the Apple iPad.The Kindle will not go down without a fight, but Apple is fighting smart. Theclash of the devices is not in its advanced technology, as the iPad would takethe cake. Instead, it is over the market that the Kindle first dominated, the e-book. For a while the Amazon E-Book Store has reported that it was losingmoney with its user enticing price cap of $9.99, even for best sellers, sonaturally Apple jumped in. The user argument of a cheaper distribution due tothe paperless process of e-books can attest to the demand of low e-bookprices.

However, with Amazon cutting into publishers profits, the Kindle will notstand against new device that can compete with it. Apple is presenting a new

price model and setting new price points where e-books will cost up to$14.99 initially. The Apple iBookstore has already signed and is launching withtitles from many major publishers.

The 3G version of the iPad will be hitting stores soon, but not soonenough. The iPad is surely a travel friendly device whose functionality can beminimized with the restriction of needing a wi-fi hot spot.

In this remarkable book,Shakespeare scholar James Shapiroexplains when and why so manypeople began to question whetherShakespeare wrote his plays. It is afascinating story, replete withforgeries, deception, false claimants,

ciphers and codes, conspiracy theories and astunning failure to grasp the power of theimagination.

William Bernhardt’s best-sellingnovels explore politics, power, ambition, crime, and the law. Nowhe scales new heights of suspenseas, in one harrowing day, lawyer andformer senator Ben Kincaid entersthe eye of an international storm, a

crisis with consequences beyond calculation.

It was just another quiet day atMcKenna's Diner until a couple ofwanted killers walked in looking fortrouble. Instead, they got bullets, andTom McKenna got to be an instantmedia celebrity. That got him a lotof attention from some people he

thought he'd escaped long ago. The kind of peoplewho never forget a face, even after twenty years.

I was beautiful, innocent, and precious. In the land of dreamsand through the land of dreams eyes,He saw me. One word from His mouthand one touch from His loving handallowed me to see methrough the land of dreams eyes. In that momentI was finally perfect. Insecurities were gone, and all fear was subject to my innocence. I was now beautiful, careless, and precious in His sight.

My eyes could not containthe overwhelming aweof this Man who took an interest in me,in the perfection that is me. For oncethe spotlight complimented me.+Yes, His flawless handiworkwas eminently clear. And on this day, what a beautiful day, such a precious Sunday,He rested, sitting next to meand admired the beautythat is me.

when we were thirteeni played on the unmarked graves of lizards and snakesyou braided flowers into ringsthe calluses on your fingers broke the weedsthe scar on your chest shone bright magenta in the sun

in the summer, when we were thirteeni paced the floor to see the wood warpmy feet remained brown from the hill next to the treeYour mom yelled at the patch of dirt next to your bedthe fault fell on meyour mom would have none of that

when we were thirteen your mom threw away my pink rotary phoneshe told you i was too old to play with toysthe tears that licked your skin were yellow in the lampwe picked through the trash and found cut cardboardthe puzzles near the black bananas had soggy stains

when i was fourteen and you were thirteeni tied my tooth to the doorknob for extra coinswe wanted a home above the worldmy mouth was a waterfall of scarletyou sympathized with my cries over the taste of copper

when you were thirteenwe mixed chocolate powder with milkuntil the top got white with foamwe heated it on the stovewithout permission from your mom

before, when you were not thirteenwe made promises to meet again, in the afteryou picked a spot near the grave of reptileswe traded our vowsi traced your scar with my callusesi fiddled with the ring on my finger

Not Fourteenby Dolores Renee Bustamante

On my way to fight this battleBut not on sand, or some foreign landBut instead it’s in my headSomething blue, something redIt’s as clear as everclearYet I know that death is nearHe is behind me, he is beneath meHe is searching for my weaknessHe searches hard all day, he searches hard all nightBut a weakness he just cannot findHe is a bit amazed, he is a bit in aweThis kid is perfect, with many flawsDeath knew that he must let him goFor deep down inside the kidSomething unknown calls homeA power so great so grandYet no one knew that the kidControlled this power in just his hand
