Target Audience & Needs

The target audience for this artist would be people who listen or like drum and bass, dubstep/electro type of music. This song is quite a dark song, the video Is shot almost like a short horror movie, which is mainly aimed at teenagers and young adults which like horror movies and scary types of music.

Lyrics (Meaning Implied?)

The lyrics for this song are quite dark, and scary the song starts off with the demon in the tv singing “I want your soul” and “I will eat your soul” which could have some religious element because this could somehow be linked to evil things such as the devil because the monster has demonic elements to it , such as the way the face and mouth are distorted makes it look like the tv is possessed.

Tempo The tempo of the song is fast , quite aggressive and evil sounding but half way through the song the song changes to a nursery rhyme sounding song and gives a calming effect but then beat goes straight into the fast aggressive demonic sound it was before.

Genre The genre of this music is drum and bass techno music. The video is a narrative music video it , is shot like a short horror film, having the demons and the children with the male face running around terrorising people, especially when the demon comes out of the tv and starts shouting at the old lady.

Camera Technique There are quite a few camera techniques used in the video, such as medium shots of the old and dog, close ups of them, and long

shots of them at the beginning of the video , and long shots of the flats.

Another close is used to show audience the tv after the dog has urinated on it , and this shows the demon appearing in it.Also at the very beginning of the video an establishing shot is used , so we get to see the entire block of flats, because the video starts with the camera panning cross in front of the flats.

Editing The editing used in this video, cuts which happens quite often throughout the video when the camera is cutting between the old lady, and then demon and the children which are running around, this happens continuously throughout the video , some jump cuts are also used when the shots are going between the children terrorising people and the demon In the tv which one of the children is carrying.

Use of Digital Effects The digital effects used in the video are how the colour correction has been changed to give a dark effect making the colours darker looking , to give it that scarier effect also the because of the use of the colours it makes the video a cold look. The video has
