Architecture Governance: Conceptually it is an approach, a set of processes, and a set of owned responsibilities that ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the organization’s architecture.

Addresses the governance roles and processes required for maintaining Enterprise Architecture.

Provides framework and structure that links IT (Information Technology) resources to Business goals.

Introduces good business practice: For planning, acquiring, implementing, and monitoring IT performance. Ensures that the enterprise’s Information Technology assets support its business objectives.

Architecture Governance is a board level responsibility (Executives, Sr. Manager)
