DESCRIPTION

The NVISION 5128 is a mid-size, multiformat router, which supports rectangular and squared configurations up to 128 x 128 (in blocks of 16). This highly robust router offers easy “mixing-and-matching” of up to eight different formats in the same frame, including HD, SD, ASI and analog video, as well as digital and analog audio. It can also be used for Time Code, sample rate conversion, and machine control signals.

MIX-AND-MATCH FORMATS

MIX-AND-MATCH FORMATSThe NVISION 5128 mid-sized, multiformat router provides the flexibility to easily adapt to evolving signal routing requirements. This innovative 128 x 128 router supports all current digital and analog formats, namely HD, SD, analog video, analog audio, AES, Time Code, SRC and data. Up to eight different formats can be supported in the same frame, with easy “mixing-and-matching” of signal types. The router provides on-board analog to digital, and digital to analog, conversion for both video and audio signals.

“PLUG AND PLAY” CONFIGURATIONConfiguring the NVISION 5128 is as simple as plugging modules into the front of the frame, and installing I/O assemblies in the rear. Reconfiguring the system is equally straightforward. No motherboard changes or internal rewiring are required, so you don’t have to worry about taking the router out of service to reconfigure it.

UNIQUE FAULT-TOLERANT DESIGNThe router is designed for reliability, fault tolerance and redundancy. All input and output modules, power supplies, controllers, and fans are front accessible and hot swappable. No rear cables need to be removed for servicing or maintenance, and power supplies are fully redundant with continuous load sharing between supplies.

FLEXIBLE REMOTE CONTROLField proven in hundreds of installations worldwide with millions of hours of continuous operation, the NVISION router control systems are ideal for mission critical applications. Designed to grow with your needs, the router control system offers a full complement of user interface options, along with full redundancy, and an easy-to-use Java based configuration editor.

The remote control panels include highly configurable hardware and virtual control panels. They provide all the features, functions and redundancy essential to address a broad range of applications, from the smallest television station to the largest uplink and origination centers.
