Minutes of Meeting: CEC Meet of AIGETOA WBTC The Central Executive Meet of AIGETOA WBTC was held at CTTC Salt Lake kolkata on 11 th Sept 2010. The meet was a grand success with a participation of over hundred members from all SSA of West Bengal. The meeting was also graced by Shri Parthojit Shukla Das CS SC/ST Welfare association WBTC, Shri Atanu Mondal CS AIBSNLOA CTD, Shri T Chatterjee CP AIBSNLOA CTD, Shri Deepak Sahu CS AIGETOA CTD and Shri Dinesh Rai All India Spokesperson AIGETOA. The meeting started with the address of the CP Shri Prashant Jain, he briefed the house on the recent developments, achievements and future objectives of AIGETOA. Shri Ashok K Achrya in his address elaborated on the circle achievements regarding R-8, Intracircle Transfers and local issues. CS also briefed about the recent New Delhi meet and the developments. Shri P S Das CS SC/ST Welfare association in his address mentioned the need of the hour for GE unity and requested support for the welfare of community candidates in BSNL. CS & CP AIBSLOA in their address mentioned the lack of objectivity and vision in the existing SNEA leadership of the circle and emphasised on the need of AIGETOA and AIBSNLOA to come forward and fight for the development of BSNL, rather than for post and merge selfish issues. They also assured us all the help needed by the young brigade to March forward which they can provide by the experience they have being the core working members of SNEA for years. Shri Dinesh Roy mentioned the need for a joint platform bringing all executive and non executive associations and unions together so that the burning issues like career progression and development works may be taken up with the management with more intensity . After the initial addresses the Agenda Items were taken up. E2 for new GE: All the DS /DP were worried about the pay issues with the new GE recruited by BSNL after 2007. CP ensured that the matter has been taken up by the CHQ with the management in New Delhi and as such AIGET OA is demanding standa rd E2 pay scale for all GE from the very beginning , soon orders just to give temporary relief to new GE the proposal of fixing the pay @ pre revised 9850 are expected. The intermediate pay scales proposed by BSNL have already been rejected by the concerned ministries and now the management is left with no other option rather to implement standard pay scale as per other CPSU.
