Hello, I’m Melinda Thiedig. I am a junior at Stephens College, which is located in Columbia, MO. I have chosen Fashion Design as my career path and I am very passionate about it. I will graduate in May 2014 with a bachelor’s de-gree in Fashion Design and Product Development. I know there are no rewards in this field unless I work hard and strive to gain as much information on the Fashion Industry
as I can.
I am a self-motivated, enthusiastic, well-rounded, good communicator with the ability to make creative decisions. I consider myself independent but capable of working in a team. I have a lot of self-motivation and a driving curiosity
to understand how the fashion industry works.
I have been involved in many extracurricular activities along with keeping excellent grades in college. I have been employed as a Residential Assistant at Stephens College, which serves as a role model and provides support to oth-er students within the residence halls. Along with being employed as a Resident Assistant, I worked part-time at Outback Steakhouse and as a substitute teacher for the St.
Charles, MO school district.
