The Republic of Cameroon is located in the middle of the Gulf of Guinea; it makes the junction between Central Africa and West Africa. Its geographical location explains the variety of its landscapes, climate and populations and for all those reasons it was given the name of “Africa in miniature”.Covering an area of 475,000 km2, Cameroon shares a border in the northwest with Nigeria (of 1 720 km), in the north with Chad (1,122 km), in the east with Central African Republic (822 km), in the south with Congo (520 km), Gabon (298 km) and Equatorial Guinea (183 km). The country has got also a coastline of 364 km in the west over the Atlantic Ocean.The country has four major regions: the coastal area, off a hundred miles north that narrows toward the south to form a low, sandy coast with a deep indentation, the Douala Bay. South of this city, the coast is the area of mangroves (Wouri estuary) and, further south, is characterized by beautiful beaches. The central plateau runs from west to east. The Adamaoua plateau (1000 to 1 500 m) slopes gently towards the Valley of Sanaga, in the south, and suddenly collapses in the north in the Benue basin. A hilly region covered with equatorial forest stretches out to the south of Adamaoua. Almost all the rivers that crisscross Cameroon originate in Adamaoua.The mountains of the west are connected to the central plateau by a large area of ancient volcanoes (where mountains Bamboutos, Manengouba are reaching over 2000 meters): plateaus of Bamileke, Foumban, Bamoun and Mandara massif. This region extends in West Cameroon where Mount Cameroon rises to 4094 m. The North Cameroon, a vast region of plains and savannah (Plain of Garoua) hemmed by volcanic mountains in northwest, gradually makes way, in the north-east, for the depression of Lake Chad. Two vegetation types predominate: the northern savannah and the dense forest in the south.

In Africa, sometime people spend more time going to church than studying. When you’re traveling in Africa, it’s quite common to notice, from Togo to Benin, Ivory Coast to Ghana via Nigeria, from Central African Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo to Burundi; once outside of the cities that churches are more numerous, and often much more well equipped

(air conditioners, electric fans and lights in some cases) than schools which often lack of benches and blackboards. Very often, students are sitting on the floor and sometimes the shading of a tree can be used as a classroom. We should mention that two or three schools are closed or abandoned every month for lack of basic tools such as school benches and blackboards.... It is a sad situation, especially when you consider that some of these countries are major exporters of wood. To understand this unfortunate phenomenon; the business of god which deadens more and more people’s minds in Africa and devours the little savings they may have, read the following: In African societies, anyone can call himself a man of god: Pastor, prophet, evangelist, apostle... Many denominations exist to attract the “lost sheep”. Nowadays, god has become a real business, an evil business! The unemployment rate, as everybody knows, is very high in African countries. That situation has brought some ideas to some people’s minds who have decided to make money using the name of god. We’re talking only about some people, even if in Africa there are also real Pastors and men of God.

Across Africa, churches are growing up like mushrooms. As soon as one person understands that being unemployed makes his life harder, he can feel very quickly a “divine inspiration” to serve god. But how does that happen? First, he has to give an appealing name to his so-called ministry that could attract crowds, as if it was a kind of advertising for spiritual thought. You may hear about an “evangelist ministry” that has a special expertise in one spiritual issue and that is the only one capable to solve it. At the beginning, the worship will be held outdoors, rather then in a small room made of four wooden walls until the tills are filled enough to be able to build a temple.Talking about the tills, many free will offerings are organized during worships sometimes only to ruin the faithful. Some prayer vigils can be organized when the ‘boss’ is in need and he usually has very little concern for the faithful who always leave empty handed. Some parents even prefer to give their earnings to god rather than to their children. This poor behavior is very African in a way.But prior to all that, in Africa, we love miracles. People get excited when they hear about a “man of god” who makes extraordinary things happen. Thus, to make the Ministry of that businessman work out and let his faithful give him anything he wants without any reason or thinking, it has to show some sort of miracle to the faithful. So, before designing his church, he will have to look for a special gift or power he can get from the mystics.

アフリカでは勉強するよりも教会に行くことに多く時間を費やす人々がいます。もしあなたがアフリカに旅行に来たならば、トーゴからベナン、コートジボワールからナイジェリアを通ってガーナ、中央アフリカ共和国、コンゴからブルンジ、どこの国でも気づくことでしょう。地方では教会の数が非常に多いです。そしてしばしばそれらは長椅子や黒板が不足していることが多い学校よりも良い設備を持っています。（エアコン、扇風機、電気など。）学校では学生は頻繁に床に座っており、そして時々木の影が教室として使われることがあります。（写真参照）長椅子や黒板など必要不可欠な道具の不足により、毎月、2、3の学校が廃校になっているということにも私たちは触れなければなりません...特にこの問題を抱える国のいくつかは主要な木材の輸出国であることを考えると、これは悲しいご報告です。アフリカの人々の精神をどんどん弱らせ、彼らの少ない貯蓄を丸飲みしてしまうこの悲しい事実を理解する為に、以下を読んで下さい。

たくさんの自由意思による献金は、時々、信者を破産させることになります。“ボス”が困っている時に祈りが行われることがあります。そして彼はいつも手ぶらで帰る信者のことを気にかけてはいません。自分たちの収入を彼らの子どもたちにではなく神に捧げたがる親たちもいます。ある意味でこの行動はとてもアフリカ人らしいです。アフリカで、私たちは奇跡が大好きです。人々は驚くべきことをする“神の子”について聞くととても興奮します。それがこの様なビジネスマンの仕事を成功させ、彼の信者に特別な理由も考えもなく、彼の欲しい物を与えさせてしまうのです。教会を設計する前に彼は神秘主義者から特別な能力や力を得なければなりません。

女性はそれら偽の牧師の主な犠牲者です。彼女たちはいつも感情的な問題を抱えているので簡単にひっかかるのです。慈悲心のかけらもなく、牧師たちの中には本当の神の奉公者が考えることも許されない、詐欺、被害者の精神を操るなどの活動に携わる者もいます。例を挙げますと、女性の為の祈りを行うと言って彼女たちの私生活の情報を少しずつ集めます...彼らは男性顧客を引き寄せる為にかわいい女の子を探すナイトクラブのオーナーの様な行動をします。女性たちは偽の牧師たちによって彼女たちの意思に反し、勧誘する人として利用されているのです。彼らはこの偽の教会ではソウルメイトに出会うことはありません。しかし彼らは偽の牧師たちにしがみついたままでいるのです。カップルたちも例外ではありません。彼らは彼らの収入の10%を教会に献金しなければならないのです...

本当の悪の契約が利益目的でこれら２つの当事者たちの間で結ばれます。偽りの神の奉公者は神秘主義者に彼の教会を立ち上げることのできる力を頼みます。もちろんそれには巨額なお金を請求され、ほとんどの場合、支払うことができません。結果として彼らは宗教活動で稼いだ利益を分かち合うことで同意するのです。言い換えれば、神秘主義者たちはそれら神の子の月収から手数料を取ることができるのです。この不道徳な事実の影響の下、私たちは祈りの最中にトランス状態になるたくさんの人々を見ることができます。彼らは彼らに聖霊が降りて来たと信じますが、一方で彼らは恥知らずな人々の為に彼ら自身を台無しにしているのです。

アフリカの社会では誰でも自分のことを牧師、預言者、伝道者、使徒など、神の子と呼ぶことが出来ます... “迷える羊”を引き寄せる為にたくさんの宗派が存在します。最近、神様はビジネスになってきました。不道徳なビジネスです！皆さんご存知の通り、アフリカの国々での失業率はとても高いです。その状況が、神の名前を使ってお金を稼ごうという人々にあるアイディアを浮かばせたのです。私たちは一部の人々のお話をしています。アフリカにも本物の牧師や神の子はいます。アフリカ全土で教会はきのこの様に増え続けています。ある人が無職であることが彼の人生を難しくしていると考えると、すぐ彼はとても早く神に仕える為の“神聖な啓示”を感じるのです。しかしどの様にそれは起こるのでしょう。

まず、彼は牧師の職務に対し、人々を惹きつける、まるで霊的思想の宣伝の様な魅力的な名前をつけなければなりません。あなたは精神的な問題についての特別な専門知識を持ち、その人物のみがそれを解決できる “伝道師である牧師”について聞いたことがあるかもしれません。初めの頃、礼拝は外で行われるでしょう。それから木でできた小さな部屋となり、そして教会を建てる様になるでしょ

アフリカにはもっと学校が必要で、教会は増やす必要がありません！＝勉強をもっとして祈る時間を減らして下さい。

It was written in the Bible that in the last days of our world, there would be false prophets. Without any religious training, some people stand up and claim to be servants of God. Nowadays, it is very difficult to distinguish the true from the false. Therefore, it is recommended to the “sheep” to have faith and to ask God in their prayers, to keep them away from perdition, even if they take the risk of being eaten by “wolves”.

The African Diaspora should be taken as a model with the experience acquired outside of the continent. Unfortunately, regarding the business of god, it is now doing the contrary, despite the substantial influence it has over the continent! It gives a bad example by perpetuating this sad phenomenon in the community. In Japan for example, the number of churches in the small African and Caribbean community has nearly doubled in two years. With such a rate, the phenomenon isn’t ready to stop. They gather together on Sundays, Saturdays and sometimes at night during weekdays in some halls in the suburbs or in tiny meeting rooms transformed into worship halls. They pray with arms raised over their heads, eyes closed in most cases, praying out loud, in several languages, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Japanese ... to prove their knowledge of languages to god, while other non-African communities dedicate themselves to studies and works.

By the way, What if Africans simply get the wrong God? Maybe they use a language in their prayers that their ancestors can’t understand? It may be a time to pray to God in our language of origin as it was suggested by the Dogon religion, only if you want to be granted of course! “The cosmos is accessible with the help of ancestors. Ask the cosmos in your own language daily. Do not pray to gods that ignore your fathers, your fellow citizens and especially that don’t understand your language. “ Religious Dogon thought from Mali.

This business of religion is one of the main issues that the continent has to confront in order to improve its economic and social development. Africa shouldn’t miss the boat of developement and must put education on top of its priority list, because an educated person won’t be easily tricked by a false shepherd. We need more schools and fewer Churches! = Study more and pray less…Life shows us that people who live their lives without any religious beliefs are not necessarily daughters or sons of the devil! They are most of the time more tolerant towards others, and they can also enjoy inner peace such as believers. Even if heaven really existed, no one can claim that the doors will be closed for them when judgment day comes. Then why do we have to sink into unscrupulous people’s arms? Isn’t there an African proverb that says: “The religion of a man is in his heart.”?

Women are the main victims of those false pastors. They are easy to be had because they always have a sentimental problem to expound. With no mercy, some pastors even engage themselves into activities that a true servant of God couldn’t have even thought of, such as swindles, manipulating the minds of their victims, for example by organizing prayer vigils exclusively reserved for women, getting more information about these women private lives, step by step ...they act like owners of Night Clubs in search of pretty girls to attract male clients. Women are used to act as touts against their wills by the false pastors. They won’t ever find their soul mates in this pseudo church, but they will remain under the hold of the fake pastors. Couples are not left behind. They usually have to give 10% of their income to the church ... Meanwhile; our fake pastors can rub their hands.

Between two obscure works, mystics had time to reveal, in the public place, the deals they have made with those pseudo men of god. A real evil pact is sealed between the two parties, on a profit basis. The false servant of God thus asks the mystic a power he desires, to be able to set up his church. The marabou of course asks for a big amount of money for that work and most of the time his client can’t afford it. As a consequence, the two men agree on sharing the profits earned during religious activities.In other words, mystics can get a commission from the monthly income of these men of god. Under the influence of these evil phenomena, we can see a number of people in a trance during vigils or prayer sessions. They believe that they are being visited by the Holy Spirit, but on the contrary, these people only ruin themselves for the good of unscrupulous people.


この宗教ビジネスはアフリカ大陸が経済と社会の発展の為に直面することになった主な問題の1つです。アフリカはチャンスを逃してはならないのです。そして教育を優先リストのトップに載せなくてはなりません。何故なら教育を受けた人は簡単には偽の牧師に騙されないからです。アフリカにはもっと学校が必要で、教会は増やす必要がありません！＝勉強をもっとして祈る時間を減らして下さい...宗教的信仰を持たずに生きる人々が必ずしも悪魔の娘や息子ではありません！彼らはほとんどの場合、他人に寛容であり、心の平穏を楽しんでいます。もし天国が本当に存在したとしても最後の審判の日が来た時に、誰も彼らへのドアは閉じているとは言えません。ではなぜ私たちは恥知らずな人々の腕に沈む必要があるのでしょうか？アフリカのことわざにあります： “人の信仰はその心の中にある”離散アフリカ人たちはアフリカの外で習得した経験を持ち、手本となるべきです。しかし残念ながら、神のビジネスに関して、そのアフリカ中での実質的影響にも関わらず、その逆のことを行っています！例えば日本で；この2年間で小さなアフリカやカリブの教会の数は2倍近くになりました。この様な割合で、この出来事は止まりません。彼らの日曜日、土曜日、そして時には平日の夜の郊外のホールや小さな会議室で始まった集まりは、礼拝堂での集まりに変わりました。

彼らは腕を頭上に上げて祈り、ほとんどの場合目をつぶり、英語、フランス語、スペイン語、ポルトガル語、日本語などいくつかの言語で大声で歌います...アフリカ人でない他のコミュニティの人々が勉強し働いている間、彼らの言語の知識を神に証明する為に歌っているのです...聖書には、私たちの世界の終わりには偽の預言者が現れるであろうと書かれています。修行せずに神の奉公者であると主張する人もいます。現代では真実と偽りを見分けるのがとても難しいです。それ故に、例え“狼”たちに食べられるリスクがあったとしても“羊”たちには信仰を持つこと、そして祈る際に神様にお願いすること、地獄に近づかないことをお薦めします。

ところで、もしアフリカ人たちが単に間違った神を持っていたとしたら？もしかしたら祈りの際に彼らの祖先が理解できない言語を使っているのでしょうか？多分、ドゴン族の宗教により提言された様に、私たちの起源の言語で祈る時なのでしょう。

“宇宙は先祖の助けによって身近である。あなた自身の言語で毎日宇宙に尋ねなさい。あなたの父親、同胞を無視する神々、そして特にあなたの言語を理解しない神々に祈るのはやめなさい。”マリ、ドゴン族の宗教的思想


The fascinating figure of the Samurai, also traditionally called “bushi”, surfaces when it’s shown in movies or novels. This strategy of this warrior was to impress the enemy with his armor called “yoroi kabuton”, his helmet and the iron mask on his face; which amplified the effect of his formidable strength. His particularly determined mind was enhanced by various symbols like the moon, the dragonfly or deer horns sculpted and fixed to the top of his helmet. The additional decorations had the purpose at that time to cleverly conceal the short size of those ancient warriors. Their strength was fed by the serenity of their minds. Being able to control their passions, they were known for their assiduous practice of flower arrangement or the tea ceremony. Martial Arts inherited this philosophy: the bushido, in which honor comes first.

Can we say that ancestors are finally buried?A French woman called Françoise Moréchand, representing Chanel in the 60s, answered on a TV show, the question of the Prime Minister who was concerned about the appearance of Japanese people in the eyes of Western politicians. She told him: You should introduce yourself with your katana (sword)! The Prime Minister retorted immediately: And why not with the traditional samurai topknot! This reply triggered hearty laughs among the public even though Françoise Moréchand was talking very seriously. Whatever! -the samurai may disappear, but his spirit will continue to inspire people!For example, the festival “Aoi Matsuri” will be held on May 15th and 16th in Kyoto where a procession of 8 km will start at Shimogamo Temple. The costumes and pageantry reflect the Heian period. The “yoroi kabuton”, more precisely its structure and weight, has evolved due to the improvements of techniques of war. The armor that covers the legs has been strengthened in response to attacks by arrows in the Heian period. The armor has been lightened for the use of spears in the Muromachi period and then thickened for the use of heavy weapons, pistols and munitions in the Azuchimomoyama period. In April 7th, in Kofu city in Yamanashi Prefecture, a festival was organized to honor the life of the Samurai Takheshida Shingen, born in 1521, which brought prosperity and safety to people. This period was recreated thanks to the participation of 1600 extras parading in the streets. This festival is called Shingen-ko and the famous samurai was played by the actor Ikki Sawamira who was not only walking along with the parade, but who was also playing a rallying scene backed by the sound of Japanese drums.

In our childhood, we used to love reading charades and rebus written on toffee wrapping papers. If a new riddle had to be added, it would be written this way: my first is the name of a

Small figurines of samurai reminding the legend of Kintaro - a young boy gifted with herculean strength, showing bravary in the presence of a lion or a bear - will also be displayed at home.

to Samuel Eto, Patrick Mboma, Roger Milla or the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.In our 8th issue of Rendez Vous en Asie the Magazine, we’ll honor the country of the Indomitable Lions, since Cameroon will celebrate its 52nd Anniversary of Independence on May 20th, 2012.

TourismCameroon has huge potential for tourism in Africa. But, this sector is still underdeveloped since it is only visited by 200,000 tourists per year. However, the government has repeatedly stated its willingness to develop this sector by launching development plans in the long run that could increase the number of visitors in Cameroon from 200,000 people currently, up to 500,000 by the end of 2015 . In order to achieve its goals, the government has established cooperative ties with offices in major tourist cities such as Paris, London and Madrid. Those ones are intended to promote the “product” – Visit Cameroon, to encourage travelers to come. These national plans are also developed through the search for new investors. This is particularly the case with China, which has signed a special contract in 2008 with the Cameroonian government to send about 50,000 Chinese tourists per year to Cameroon. This search for new partners is also targeting the U.S. via a cultural partnership and exchanges between the two countries.

Lake Male and female lakes, located on the heights of Mount Manengouba, are great tourist attractions. The Female Lake with its blue waters has the shape of an inverted Africa. It is more accessible as it sits on top of a hill while the Male Lake with its green waters, smaller and round, is sunk between two hills which makes the access more difficult. The Manengouba Lakes are shrouded in mystery that is better to discover personally than to be told by someone. The Lake of Men (Male Lake) is mysterious, unfathomable and is a symbol of strength and power. The Lake of Women (Female Lake), a symbol of growth, is adorable, friendly and welcoming.

カメルーン共和国


Korup National Park Korup is the oldest and most diversified tropical forests of Africa. The richness of its fauna and flora is due to the fact that Korup survived the Ice Age. Nowadays, it looks like a museum of more than 60 million years! Officially founded in 1986, the Korup National Park covers 1,260 km2 in the southwestern province between the towns of Eyumojock and Mundemba. The park counts more than 620 species of trees and shrubs and nearly 500 species of herbs. It can also list over 400 species of birds, 82 species of reptiles, 92 species of amphibians and about 1,000 species of butterflies... Mammals and fish are also numerous and have got respectively 130 and 160 species! Some areas of the park have been improved to make the visit easier, including the visit of the canopy on suspension bridgesIt is also now possible to make a journey to see pelicans and discover small fishermen villages.

Museum of Mankon The museum presents the cultural and artistic production of the Kingdom of Mankon, located in the highlands of western Cameroon, the Grassland. This artwork production, which is an essential part of the cultural and artistic heritage of Mankon, plays a fundamental role in the cultural continuity of this community. The objects are full of “meaning” but they are also testimonies of characteristic shapes created by Mankon people. They all carry memories of the treasure of kings, leaders and of secret societies. These artworks are extraordinarily rich, thanks to their high quality, but also to the wide range of subjects depicted and the variety of decorative patterns, styles and themes.

Sports Cameroonians love football. Cameroon has got few sports facilities. Most football stadiums were built on the eve of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) in 1972 when Cameroon was the organizer of the event. Yet the Cameroon football team, nicknamed the “Indomitable Lions”, has an honorable track record as it was four times winner of the CAN, one time winner of the Intercontinental Cup and Olympic champion in Sydney in 2000. It even became the first African team to reach the quarter-finals of a FIFA World Cup in 1990. Cameroon has also won the first edition of the African Cup of Beach Soccer in South Africa in 2007.Cameroon has also got excellent results in boxing (the first two Olympic medals have been obtained in this discipline in 1968 and 1984), handball (national competitions and in friendly games, with many trophies), volleyball (several times champion of African), basketball (vice-champion of Africa in 2007) and weightlifting. In athletics, the triple jumper Francoise Mbango Etone is a double Olympic champion in her discipline (in 2004 and 2008).Construction projects for sports facilities were launched by the government to overcome this relative deficiency. There are plans to build several stadiums over the period 2008-2018 several stadiums, swimming pools or sports halls in Yaounde, Douala, Limbe, Bafoussam and in other cities throughout the country. This work is financed by the People’s Republic of China and the infrastructures are built by Chinese companies.

Dear Readers, In response to your incessant demand, we decided to reintroduce the photonovella in your magazine. Four pages maximum will be devoted to it. For those unfamiliar with the concept of photo-story: The photonovella tells a story mixing different mediums such as cinema or comics. The photonovella takes its inspiration from cinema by using close-up shots and developing a plot showing sentimental stories or individual stereotyped happiness. The technique of collage of pictures, the phylacteries (thought bubbles) used for dialogue and the story board are also influenced by comics. Usually, the photonovella stories have sentimental and humorous overtones. In general, photonovellas are more liked by female readers than men readers. The photonovella is back in Rendez-Vous en the Asie Magazine, with scenarios like: “Fell in Love on Rainbow Bridge”, a more exciting story and always covering the philosophy of the project Rendez Vous en Asie, with the charming Joice (Mozambique), who was in the first issue with Maiko. In this new issue, Joice is co-staring with Mariko (Japanese) and Hawil (Guinean). Mariko invites her friend Joice for a walk in Odaiba, when they arrive on the Rainbow Bridge, the two girls bump into Hawil, a Guinean guy who is almost a professional skirt-chaser who shoots at anything that moves ... To understand african art and the people, one has to take the history of Africa seriously. This requires a careful caution of scrunity of African culture and tradition. And, it is important to understand how the West portrays past and present of Africa, historains and the media still continue to delude the masses. With recent breakthroughs in anthropology investigation in African art , African societies show and prove Africa had a great past and a great culture. I can see people around the world now are able to appreciate the diversity and the creativity of African civilization. I loved art since I was a kid, I was a big fan of Raphael Santio, Da Vinci, but not a big fan of Picasso until I read a comment he made on African art and this is what he said :”I felt my greatest emotions when I suddenly comfronted with the sublime beauty of scupltures executed by an anonymous artist of Africa. These works of a religious passionate and rigorously logical art are the most powerful and the most beautiful things the human imagination has ever produced”. From these words I was convinced that Africans and African art have contributed a lot to Western art. No doubt in my mind African art inspired not only Picasso, but European art to the eventual modern art. I’m a big fan of Japanese art too. Like the ancient pottery , sculture in the wood and bronze especially the ink paintings that I’m learning and the Japanese ceramics that are amongst the finest in the world. I see painting as a prefered artistic parctice in Japan by professional and amateirs alike. I’m very much impressed by their brush techniques. One of my goals is to have a multi-cultural exhibition with a Japanese artist and I see that coming soon very soon .

Ça se passe dans une boite de nuit. Un garçon et une fille se rencontrent pour la première fois, et c’est le coup de foudre. Ils dansent ensemble toute la nuit, et après une série de slows, ils n’en peuvent plus et déci-dent de faire l’amour dans la voiture... La fille est allongée sur la banquette arrière, le garçon est sur elle, et après quelques caresses, il tente de “s’introduire”. Mais il sent une résistance... Changement de position, il essaie encore, mais sent encore une ré-sistance. Au bout d’un quart d’heure, il y arrive enfin, et ils font l’amour comme des bêêêêêêtes ! Juste après, le garçon lui dit : Excuse-moi, j’étais tellement excité... si j’avais su que tu étais vierge, j’aurais pris mon temps - Ben oui, répond la fille, et si t’avais pris ton temps, j’aurais surtout enlevé mon collant... “

Deux jeunes femmes en quête de sensations déci-dent un jour de faire l’amour avec deux nains car parait-il ce sont des supers coups. Dans une discothèque, l’occasion se présente et nos deux nanas commencent à draguer deux nains qui sont en train de danser sur la piste. Tout se passe bien et après une bonne soirée en boite nos amis se décident de finir la nuit à l’hôtel. Les deux couples prennent chacun une chambre et se souhaitent une bonne nuit. Dans la première chambre, tout se passe à merveille. Notre jeune femme et le nain passent une heure à faire l’amour et puis fatigués par tant de dépenses d’énergie décident de dormir. Enfin ils essaient de dormir car dans la chambre d’à côté ils entendent des cris toutes les 30 secondes. - Yeeeehhhhaaaa ! Yeeeehhhhaaaa ! - Et bien ils tiennent la forme à côté! pensent-ils! - Yeeeehhhhaaaa ! Mon amie a tiré le bon numéro, elle passe une nuit d’amour d’enfer. se dit la première. Le lendemain, les deux amies se retrouvent dans le hall de l’hôtel. - Ah moi j’ai passé une nuit formidable et toi ça a du être super vu les cris qu’on entendait dans votre chambre? - Tu parles, fait l’autre, toute la nuit il l’a passée à essayer de grimper sur le lit!!

C’est un ouvrier qui appelle son patron... - Patron, patron, je ne peux pas rentrer aujourd’hui, j’ai mal aux jambes, aux bras, à la tête, partout quoi ! Alors, son patron réplique : - Ce que je fais dans ce temps-là quand j’ai la même chose que toi ; je demande à ma femme qu’elle me fasse une bonne fellation... alors mon cher, essaye cela et rappelle moi dans deux heures pour me confirmer que tu vas rentrer travailler.... Alors, l’ouvrier rappelle deux heures plus tard.... - Patron, patron... Ça marche... j’ai pu mal aux jambes, pu mal aux bras, pu mal a la tête... j’arrive travailler.... Le patron tout fier de son conseil lui répond : - Alors, tu as suivi mon conseil à la lettre ? - Oui patron, répondit l’ouvrier, en passant, t’as vraiment une sapristi de belle maison !

French CornerC’est l’histoire d’un mec qui va aux toilettes dans un bar. La première est occupée et il entre dans la deuxième. A peine se met-il sur la cuvette qu’il entend : - Salut ! Comment ça va ? Surpris, il se dit que c’est un drôle d’endroit pour lier d’amitié avec quelqu’un, mais bon, on ne choisit pas... - Euh.!.!! ça va, dit-il embarrassé. - Qu’est-ce que tu fais de beau ? - Ben, je fais comme toi, ... caca... Et là, il entend : - Écoute, je te rappelle plus tard, il y a un con à côté qui répond à toutes mes questions !

Deux copains discutent sur les différentes façons de faire l’amour... - “Et le sexe à la Rodéo, t’as essayé ?” - “Sexe à la Rodéo? non... c’est comment ?” - “Tu te mets sur ta femme, tu la caresses et puis tu lui dis à l’oreille : ton parfum est le même que celui de ma secrétaire !” - “Et après ?” - “Après, tu essayes de rester 5 secondes dessus...”


Deux secrétaires papotent pendant une pause. La première demande à l’autre : - Tu fumes après l’amour ? Et l’autre de répondre : - Je ne sais pas, j’ai jamais regardé.

Un homme se cogne contre une femme dans un hall d’hôtel. Durant la collision son coude butte contre la poitrine de celle-ci. Ils sont tout deux surpris. L’homme se tourne vers elle et dis: - “M’dame, si votre cœur est aussi doux que votre poitrine, je sais que vous me pardonnerez.” Ce à quoi elle répond: - “Si votre queue est aussi dure que votre coude, je suis dans la chambre 221.”

Un gars entre dans une banque et dit à la guichetière :

Mona

Music

Mona (aka Mona Guitarra) is a multilingual folk rock guitarist and vocalist. While growing up she was influenced by various kinds of music, ranging from French jazz from the 30s to classic 80s rock.Today Mona enjoys playing and singing various styles and can easily adapt to suit the venues of events. Being a versatile musician, it’s quite possible to see her sing jazz one day and play at a rock venue the next. Her next Live project is to help

support Tsunami victims in Tohoku area especially Minamisanriku area, one of the most devastated areas in Tohoku.Her passion for music prompted her to seek collaborations with other musicians including The Buddy Note and TheArai Band. These collaborations have made her a versatile and experienced vocalist. With her multilingual background, she sings in different languages including English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. In Tokyo, Mona performs at events and weddings, as well as at the Foreign Correspondents Club.On August 26th, 2008, Mona organized a benefit concert featuring various types of music as well as stand up comedy. All proceeds from the concert went to Polaris Project which aimed to prevent Human Trafficking. The event was a great success.When not too busy performing, Mona spends time writing songs, travel articles and her book on Life as a japanesegaijin woman in Japan.

RVAM: Hello Mona, how are you doing?Mona: Grumpy this morning (had to get up early!) but very happy now as I can really take advantage of the whole sunny day.RVAM: Musically you are into all the style, Jazz, Rock, Soul, Country, Chansson etc... what is the style of Mona?Mona: Oh my real identity is actually an avid Enka singer.........Just kiddin! My style...hmmm.... messy bob I guess. Wait ! we’re talking about music here, not hair.Well my music style....I’rather that you find out at my gigs but if you must know NOW...I suppose my style is a real mixed one like I do a mix of English rock and French or Spanish ballad in one song. It can be a lot of fun. I arrange those songs when I’m alone at home, mostly in the shower.RVAM: How many albums have you released since you started your music career ?Mona: I did some fun recording when I was a kid and when I was in high school band but I dont think I want to release those (just yet anyway haha) So far, I have released a few singles and one album.Fate: 2008, a soft easy listening I wrote and arranged. A guitarist friend loves it so much he told me he listened to it every night. This makes me smile. I thanked him and told him to listen to other songs too. Alien song: 2008, a song I wrote about how someone who doesn’t fit in feels about being seen as an outsider all the time. It’s a bit of a sarcastic song but the rhythm can be fun to listen to. Maybe a lot of you can relate. I’ve also released one album Mona & her Guitar in 2009 containing songs I composed and an arranged acoustic version of a rock song Don’t look back in anger.I am in the process of working on the next album. This one will be a bit different, more acoustically inclined and hopefully will have a better picture of me on the cover! Look forward to it and don’t forget to drop me a line on my website: www.monaguitarra.comRVAM:You colaborated with many artists such as The Buddy Note and The Arai Band, how was that experience?Mona: At first I thought the practice with those serious musicians was too harsh and very strict but then after the performance, I quite appreciate that I went through the ‘training’ . Then I started to have fun at practice too. I am often impressed by how great the musicians are and how well they work together to make songs (that I sing) sound so good. Well I guess I do sing quite alright solo as well and that’s why they kept asking me to sing with them. I hope they agree with me on this.RVAM:You are engaged with many causes: women’s education in South East Asia, and more recently for victims of the Tsunami, what does commitment mean to you?Mona: When I sang in front of the kids in Fukushima, I felt very happy but really I felt something, something I can’t quite describe. After the show quite a few girls came up to me and asked me to sing some more.It was so much fun for me too. Some of them trusted me enough to tell me how they’re still sad to have lost their homes and, in some cases, family members. So really I mean it wasn’t that I did something for them, THEY did a lot for me too. They made me feel so grateful of life with their positivity and trust they have in me. Also in Ishinomaki, I was really thankful to meet so many kind hearted and hard working people who, together with me, were digging and digging the mud that was blocking the streets and the drains. We also moved the huge pile of trash and then laughed together. I felt so humble after that, not to mention I lost 2 kilos from all the digging and sweating :) Hmm come to think of it, that could be a good way to get fit and be useful to the society at the same time. I do feel strongly about women issues. I had a chance to meet many young girls in various countries who were victims of abuse. Most of them didn’t have a chance to attend schools. I became aware of this when I was working as a journalist and wanted to do something about it. Since I sing ( better than cleaning my house), I thought I could do something related to music to help raise awareness.

I was thankful for a lot of support I received. I feel encouraged to continue working more on the projects.

RVAM:Tell us a bit about your book project, Life as a Japanese Gaijin woman in Japan.Mona: That’s more like a personal project. I’m just expressing a lot of my experiences and thoughts into words. The experiences (in relation with my song ‘Alien Song’ ) range from funny to grumpy and then to some sort of enlightened way to live happily with myself (or at least happily in Japan :). It is a fun read (at least to me and possibly to my mom too...haha)RVAM: If you have to describe Mona in 5 sentences, what would they be ?Mona: Can I say in 3 words ? No? Well ok 5 then. Let me think..... Here we go:- Curious about the world,- Really love animals and (some) kids- Reasonably intelligent- Good listener (and a pretty good singer)- Silly at times- Long armsOh sorry that’s six! The last one is what people keep telling me. I hope I don’t look like a monkey.

RVAM: What things should people know and remember about Mona, the singer ?Mona: Long arms....just kidding. Seriously, besides remembering my smiles and help reminding me that those smiles were pretty when I turn 80 years old, It would make me happy to be remembered of the meaningful activities I engaged myself in namely Tsunami victim projects and projects to help with women’s education. It helps too if you can sing some of my songs.

RVAM:When is your next show?Mona: My next show will be May 30th 2012 at What the Dickens, Ebisu. It’s fun to perform there. The people there are nice enough and they also give you delicious food.Well I assume by now you are charmed by me and want to know about my future gigs.
