Unit PT Per Request: We require a 48 hour advance notice for our Fitness Staff to teach

Spin: Using a station studio cycle, intensity can be increased or decrease by changing the resistance level on the fl ywheel. Cycling builds endurance and trains leg muscles to be strong while being kinder to ankles due to know and minimal weight earing.

Core Crunch: A 15-minute session focusing on strengthening and stretching the entire core, this includes not only your abdominal muscles, but your back muscles as well. This class is highly recommended to increase core stability and strength.

Pure Strength: Work your muscles in every way possible in this class designed to build strength, add defi nition, increase your bone density, and decrease your body fat by increasing your lean muscle. You will use hand weights, plate loaded barbells, tubing and your own body weight to change the shape of your body. No muscle gets neglected in this class!

Step Aerobics: A step aerobics class utilizes an elevated platform or step that can often be adjusted to various heights. These exercises include arm movements, shifting the body weight, stepping up and over to the other side of the platform and doing various dance moves to increase your breathing and heart rates.

Pilates: Incorporating the fundamentals of Pilates, this class follows the classic Beginner/Intermediate mat order, and it is appropriate for all students.

Zumba: Is a fusion of Latin and international music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” The routines feature aerobic/fi tness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

Yoga: Yoga combines physical exercises, mental meditation, and breathing techniques to strengthen the muscles and relieve stress.

H.I.I.T. High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. This type of training has been used by athletes to improve performance, but it’s also been shown to benefi t the average exerciser. HIIT training not only helps performance, it also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat.

PT Prep: Training in large group settings with varied fi tness levels and challenging workouts to successfully meet the PT standards.

Pump It Up: This 30-minute class is designed to tighten and tone your entire body with the use of hand held weights, exercise bands, or balls. This class combines unique sequences of traditional and contemporary body sculpting exercises you’ll see result’s fast.

Water Areobics @ the Aquatic Center: This high/low intensity class is designed to improve cardio condition, alternating the strength/balance and core training segments. Water exercise is an excellent modality for cross training and gives knees the backs a break from land base cardio workouts.
