Roadway Projects
• CenterPoint has completed the line relocation along the east side of the project
• Completed the installation of the street lights along the northbound lanes
• Contractor is completing the punch list
Cullen Parkway
Phase II – Mary’s Creek Bypass to SH35
• Completed inspections of right of way, landscape, water, sanitary, storm and paving; provided punchlist to TxDOT
• Raised issue of weeds, dead grass and dead trees to TxDOT; TxDOT met with contractor regarding replacement
• Contractor is completing punch list
Dixie Farm Road
• One lane closure between SH 35 and Veterans allowing only westbound traffic continued
• Completed installation of 4x4 and 9x4 boxes• Waterline installation west of SH 35 approximately
80% complete• Completed a portion of the work near the BNSF
railroad crossing• CenterPoint relocation work is pending and is not
impeding the construction progress • Milling existing asphalt; paving by July
Walnut Reconstruction
Construction Phase III – Morgan to Harkey and CR 89
• Substantial completion on May 13th
• Opened roadway to traffic May 17th

Facility Projects
• Fiber optic crossing design was submitted to TxDOT for permit

• Red Iron and roof deck pan installation completed May 20th
• Fuel system equipment package for Orange Street facility shipped May 23rd ; installation will require approximately half a day
Hillhouse Road Service Center
• New Interview Room Recording System equipment is installed and being tested
• Final outstanding item is correction of the lighting equipment on the front wall; custom electrical boxes had to be built, waiting on delivery for installation
• All LEED paperwork has been completed and submitted to USGBA
Public Safety Building
• Driveways and parking/paving has been completed
• Masonry work is complete• Contacted CenterPoint Energy to help
coordinate the installation of power to the facility

• Submitted 100% design comments to Architect to address
• HGAC has approved the grant for $25,000• Coordinating Interlocal Agreement with

• Installed 3 booster pumps along with 90% of the associated piping for the booster pumps
• Approximately 95% of the underground piping has been completed

• Completed installation of the emergency diesel generator and enclosure
