The petitions will be submitted to the House of Commons in December. If you picked up an extra petition to gather signatures of family or friends, it can be returned to the office, or mailed directly to the address at the bottom of the petition. Thank you for your continued prayer, fasting and witness to seek God’s grace, to change hearts and minds to recognize and protect the sanctity of life. A SINCERE THANK YOU! to all of the many parishioners and friends who helped make this 50 th Anniversary celebration a huge success. Thank you to Bishop Crosby, our celebrant and homilist and to the priests who returned to St. Agnes to concelebrate the Holy Mass. Many thanks to the many volunteers who put countless hours into planning the celebration. To those who designed the banner and decorated the church so beautifully; to our ushers, lectors, commentators, eucharistic ministers; to the choir and the Knights of Columbus – Thank you! For the power point presentation and display boards – thanks for your dedication. To everyone who helped with the food–from the delicious home baking to all of the many helpers who prepared the food for the reception. Thank you. Thank you to Trail Estate Winery and to Stemmler’s Meat and Cheese for their generous donations. We are blessed to be part of such a warm, generous parish community. OUR ST. AGNES POINSETTIA FUNDRAISER is back this year! Please plan to purchase your flowers this year from our parish fundraiser, with all funds going to parish renovations. As usual our St. Agnes Poinsettias are blessed by Fr. Aleks, making them the MOST special poinsettias available anywhere! Order forms are available in the bulletin and in the vestibule. Orders are due November 24 th REGIONAL NEWS THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS INVITES EVERYONE TO: A St. Teresa of Avila spaghetti dinner on Friday, Nov. 8 at St. Teresa of Avila Church Hall, 19 Flamingo Drive, Elmira. The meal will be served from 5-7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased through the Parish Office, Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm or by calling 519-669-3387. Ticket prices are: Adults $12.00; Children 6-12 years $6.00, children 5 & under are free and a family of 4 is $25.00. Those who have pruchased take-out tickets can pick their meals up at 4:30pm.
