Cardiff University India Office: Marketing Assistant X 2 Internships Location: New Delhi, India This internship offers students the opportunity to develop an understanding of marketing and recruitment practices within an international context, gain valuable skills and relevant work experience in the field of Marketing. Interns will support the work of the Partnerships manager and marketing Officer to promote the University (including its international opportunities). Interns will contribute to the digital marketing campaign and develop ideas to support the marketing activity of the Cardiff University India Office. Interns will produce innovative programmes to engage cross culturally in an educational context to promote studying in the UK to high school students in India. The internship will offer a unique opportunity to demonstrate such skills in a rewarding environment whilst contributing to the success of Cardiff University. Stipend:£1000 plus £500 accommodation bursary Key Responsibilities: Following up on leads and enquiries derived from the digital marketing campaign either by telephone and email. Developing ideas to support the India Office’s marketing and conversion activities in the region with guidance from the Partnership Manager. Devising and delivering seminars which will be of interest to Indian High School students related to study in the UK. Visits to local agents and schools to promote the University Developing and delivering pre-departure briefings as part of our conversion activity. Following up on queries escalated through the conversion campaign from the UK. Essential Criteria Desirable Criteria Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good presentation skills, comfortable speaking to groups Currently studying Journalism, Psychology, Music, Business Management
