    Offshore Structures MOPU Wellbay Modules

Bespoke wellbay modules designed to be used in conjunction with a MOPU

Quick and low cost solution for rapid development of normally uneconomical fields

Attaching the wellbay module to the hull of the FPSO removes the need for a NUI or standard jacket

Systems are designed to be either fitted to new build rigs or retrofit to existing rigs

Allows multiple wells to be tied back to an FPSO

  • Page 13

    Offshore Structures Tension Decks

Bespoke tension decks designed for explorations and development drilling

Systems are designed to be either fitted to new build rigs or retrofit to existing rigs

Allows multiple wells to be drilled at one single location

Can provide up to 1500 Tones of tension across 6 individual well slots

  • Page 14

Typically NUI platforms using well conductors as structural members.

Designed to current API and Verification body rules.

Designed for installation by standard cantilever Jack-up and supply vessel. No need specialist vessel assistance.

Conductors can be drilled and cemented or piled.

    Three main applications

    Normally Unmanned Installation

    Pre drill wellhead platform

    Slot addition wellhead platform

    Typically 36 or 30 diameter Grade X52.

Premium fatigue grade connectors (e.g. National Oilwell Varco XLC-S connectors) with excellent strength and fatigue performance.

    Pile or drill conductors.

Four conductors will form the main structural support to the platform and will be effectively fixed within the subsea structures via use of grout.

    Corrosion protection will be provided.

Example of 4 Well Sea Swift

    Overall dimensions of approximately: H: 13.6m W: 6.9m L: 8.1m

4 wells in a 2 x 2 array @ 6m x 4.8m spacing plus a central running slot which can also be used as a well slot (future requirement).

    Approximate weight 160 Tonnes.

4 x 42 O/D leg sleeves, and an arrangement of smaller tubular sections interconnecting bracing members.

The subsea structure will be located at or just above the seabed and initially supported on a central support pile. This can also accommodate an additional well if required in the future.

All required cement grouting equipment, installation cameras, subsea gyrocompass location fittings and guides for the export riser and subsea power umbilical cable.

Conductors will be grouted within the sleeves.

    Sea Swift CSP Subsea Structures

  • Page 19

Offers support/protection to the export riser and umbilical cable.

Approximate weight will be 2.5 Tonnes

    Locates over two well conductors.

Installed either following or during the installation of the 4 well conductors and prior to installation of the topsides module.

Incorporates guide modules for the export riser and the subsea power umbilical cable.

Will be installable using AEL patented technology.
