Introduction

It has been a little while since we released our last newsletter, and what a successful period it has been. Al Hurea is now fully certified to the highest international industry standards – ANSI/ ASIS PSC 1.2012, ISO 18788:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 - through UKAS accredited MSS Global, which makes Al Hurea one of the highest accredited PSCs in the world and the highest accredited Iraqi PSC. In addition to this, Al Hurea has now been approved as an AoFA Qualifications training centre in Iraq.

This letter will give a little more detail on that process, update you on our new fleet, training activities and new commitments made by the company.

ISO 18788:2015 & ANSI/ASIS PSC 1 2012 certification complete!

Al Hurea has successfully complete both Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits through MSS Global, a total of 8 full days of external audit. During these stages the company’s Security Operating Management System (SOMS) was audited against these standards, from the organisations strategy and objectives through to the on-the-ground implementation of the SOMS.

During this process Al Hurea also be upgraded its current ISO 9001:2008 certificate to the 2015 standard through MSS Global.

Al Hurea Security driver training

AoFA Qualifications Training Centre Approval

We are delighted to announce that Al Hurea is now an approved AoFA Qualifications training centre, which adds to its already vast array of training accreditations and puts the company at the forefront of training capabilities in Iraq. Al Hurea can now deliver the Ofqual Level 3 First Person on Scene Intermediate course in country; which is endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

February Training Courses

Al Hurea will complete the following training this month to furnish new teams and its contingency pool of trained personnel in support to ongoing contracts:

• Al Hurea in-house 40GLH Close Protection course.

• RoSPA Driver training course.

• HABC Level 3 Close Protection 150h course.

• AoFAQ First Person on Scene L3.

Al Hurea Fleet

Over the last 8 weeks Al Hurea has received new vehicles including HOVs and Toyota land cruisers, with a further 10 x IAG armoured land cruisers arriving within the next 4-5 weeks from the UAE.

Looking Forward

Al Hurea has signed an agreement to be audited through MSS Global against the OHSAS 18001 standard as we look to continue with the commitment by top management to continuous improvement of its company management systems, which is due to take place in June 2017.
