Imploding bubbles damage liners...

...which can cause cavitation

As diesel engines operate, vibration of the cylinders creates microscopic bubbles in the coolant that attach to the cylinder liners. These bubbles can implode with a force of over 15,000 PSI, which is called Cavitation Erosion. This collapse can blast small holes in the cylinder liner. Without the protection of a heavy-duty coolant, the result is liner cavitation.

Over time, liner cavitation can allow coolant to enter the engine oil. This compromises the lubrication of the engine oil and results in excess friction, which ultimately leads to engine failure. Many competitive coolants don’t provide adequate protection against this. HTO Additive is designed to provide additional anti- wear, oxidation and corrosion- inhibiting properties. It extends component life in CASE skid steer hydrostatic transmissions for CASE Uni-Loader models 1818, 1825, 1835, 1835B, 1835C, 1838, 1840, 1845C, 40XT, 60XT, 70XT, 75XT and 85XT.

HTO Premix

HTO Premix is a special blend of 10W-30 No.1 Engine™ Oil premixed with HTO anti-wear additive for service fill in hydrostatic transmissions in CASE Uni-Loader models 1818, 1825, 1835, 1835B, 1835C, 1838, 1840, 1845C, 40XT, 60XT, 70XT, 75XT and 85XT. Addition of HTO Additive is not required when premix is used.

Axle Oil AdditiveSpecifically for use with Hy-Tran® Ultraction™, this axle oil additive is designed to enhance Hy-Tran Ultraction’s thermal characteristics in severe-temperature applications, and to help reduce brake and clutch noise in CASE L and M-Series loader backhoe rear axles, K-Series loader backhoe transaxles (after PIN JJG020000) and G-Series forklift non-steer drive axles.

Add 1 pint of additive to every 7.5 gallons of Hy-Tran Ultraction. This concentration can be doubled in specific severe situations to 1 pint in 3.75 gallons, but it must never exceed this level of concentration.
