The Sacred Heart Tricky Tray originally scheduled for April 24, 2020, will take place on Friday, September 11, 2020!

Tickets are still available for this fundraiser and you may still drop off donations at the parish office by leaving a message with the answering service!

Please remember your Parish Church in Your Last Will & Testament

Our parish church is totally dependent upon your financial support and generosity. Without your generosity we as a parish church could not function. Unfortunately it takes money and we must pay the bills like any other household, the only difference is that we are much, much bigger. Please be generous with God’s given treasure in supporting your parish church. Please consider tithing (5% of your income) if you have not done so in the past. The Good Lord reward you for your generosity and sacrifice.

PRAYER OF POPE FRANCIS DURING THE PANDEMIC

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain,

keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People,

know what we need, and we are sure you will provide,

so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting

after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love,

to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus,

who has taken upon Himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows,

to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and Blessed Virgin. Amen.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His Son...” ~ John 3:16

Is your love conditional? Is there a price others have to pay to receive your love and forgiveness? Are you gen-erous with your time, skills, money and possessions? If you give someone something, do you expect something in return? Do you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s convenient for you? God desires a personal relationship with us so much that He gave us His Son, unconditionally! Pray for a grateful and generous heart!

Raffle tickets for the upcoming raffle on June 14, 2020, have been mailed to all registered parishioners. If you have not received your tickets or for additional tickets, please call the Parish Office and leave your name and address with the answering service. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

READINGS FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 7TH

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ and Dear Parishioners: It is with great joy that I announce to you a gradual opening of Churches and the celebration of Mass with a congregation. Daily Mass has resumed as scheduled with limited number of attendees and maintaining social distancing. Holy Communion will be given out after the Holy Mass has ended, with priests wearing a mask and all desiring to receive must keep six (6) feet apart to approach the priest. Please know that if you are sick, you must remain home out of respect for your brothers and sisters’ wellbeing. Additionally, please know that our Bishop has given continual compensation from Sunday obligation of attending Mass until our Churches are open fully and completely. Please note there may remain basic restrictions going forward. The best of all announcements is that beginning June 12th , and for the feast of Corpus Christi, we will be able to gather in our Church for Mass and celebrate the true presence of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist. However, this must be done with social distancing once we are in Church. According to the guidelines for now, we can only allow 30% of what the Church can seat. We must be mindful of each other’s safety, the safety of your Priests and your Eucharist Ministers. Please note that our Diocese has established a four (4) stage process of reopening Churches for Mass and this is only the first of the four (4) stages. Ushers will guide you to safe seats within the Church Proper for each Mass. I am holding a special meeting this Friday to prepare for this. I will keep you informed with greater details and procedures to be followed in a few days. I am going to ask for your patience, understanding and cooperation as we begin to gather for Mass on weekdays and weekends on a limited basis and with full cooperation of the “Diocesan Norms for Opening Churches for Mass with Congregation”. I cannot wait to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with you being present in Church. You are in my prayers. Please pray for me.

~ Father Stanley
