MANDATORY Monday, June 16 – Senior Credit Check at

noon Tuesday, June 17 – Final rehearsal at the

Oakdale in the morning & Commencement Ceremony in the evening

Senior Class Outing is on Friday, May 23rd

ALL NHS Field Trip Guidelines and handbook rules apply. We also expect you to follow Holiday Hill rules.

The absence from classes, as a result of the outing, will be excused.

You will meet in the auditorium at 8:45 am.

Senior Class Outing ALL students attending the

outing MUST take the bus...YOU CANNOT DRIVE YOURSELF!

NO LOCKERS at Holiday Hill – Do NOT bring VALUABLES. NHS and Holiday Hill are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Please remember you represent NHS...Appropriate behavior is expected.

8:00 am – Breakfast provided by Class of 2013 8:45 am – Assemble by House in Auditorium 9:00 am – Load Busses 9:15 am – Depart for Oakdale Theatre 9:45 am – Begin rehearsal at Oakdale Theatre 11:30 am – Depart Oakdale – Return to NHS 12:15 pm – Cap and Gown Distribution

You CANNOT drive yourself to the Oakdale!

Tuesday, June 17th “Graduation Day”

Commencement Exercises

4:45 pm – Assemble by House in Auditorium 5:00 pm – Load Buses 5:15 pm – Depart for Oakdale Theatre 6:00 pm – Arrive at Oakdale Theatre 6:15 pm – Assemble in staging area 6:45 pm – Begin processional 7:00 pm – BEGIN COMMENCEMENT!!!! *You MUST plan for your own transportation home! * All-Night Graduation Party will begin 1-hour after our ceremony ends.

Ticket Information Letter #1 – 4/21/14 Information about tickets. 6 tickets per student. You can request an additional 4 (10 total). See Ms. Plocharczyk in the Doran House Office to request extra tickets (handicapped tickets available)

Letter #2 – First Week of June You will receive one of two letters. Each include: Information about senior credit check and final

obligations Graduation rehearsals & the actual Ceremony Graduation Dress Code Graduation Photos Whether your tickets are on hold due to

academic circumstances and/or financial obligations (letter version 2)

Your attendance at BOTH rehearsals is MANDATORY…Failure to attend one or both rehearsals will result in you NOT participating in Commencement!!!

Transportation will be provided for

the June 17th rehearsal & Commencement. You cannot drive yourself to the Oakdale but you MUST have your own ride back after commencement is over.

“Game Day Dress” is REQUIRED

for Ceremony

NO decorations are to be placed on any part of your cap or gown

Procession begins at 6:45 pm and ceremony begins at 7:00 pm. Doors to Oakdale will close at 6:45 to allow graduates to proceed in &

re-open following processional… Tell your family and guests to plan accordingly.

No signs or balloons will be allowed

into the Oakdale

Dignified behavior is EXPECTED.
