niques for making learning programs (teaching) that

are both engaging for your students and rewarding for

    yourself.

SESSION 3:HOW COULD THE CASEMETHOD TEACHINGADVANCE

NOV. 20, 2014, 09.00 16.00This session will examine the many ways in which

case method teaching can contribute to the executive

education experience. The case method is designed to

draw the expertise of participants into the learning expe-

rience making it particular suitable to executives. We

will focus on an inductive style of pedagogy, in which

participants, guided through a process of discovery, reason

from the specics of a given situations about actual events

in (usually) real companies, to more general frameworks

(even theories) that can be used in other settings.

The case method also tends to be well liked by executives, who appreciate a more active role in their own l earning.

In keeping with the highly participative nature of the case

method, this session will be very interactive and partic-

ipative, characterized by discussion and debate. There

is a great deal of misunderstanding and misinformation

about this approach, and we will attempt to address at

least some of this in the course.

    FEB. 25, 2015, 14.00

This session works with participants appearance in the

class room. The session will focus on the teachers body

and voice and how they may f acilitate the development of

authority, authentic presence and relations with students.

The session will be conducted by actors and voice

trainers from Nrrebro Teater and will use exercises and

simulations of teaching situations to facilitate reection

on, and development of personal teaching style.

The aim is to establish knowledge of and reection over

practices and techniques for developing relations with

students. We also wish to strengthen awareness of and

ability to use voice and body to increase attention, interest

    and interaction among students.

the tool write.cbs.dk for co-writing texts and nally

the mind-mapping tool cbs.mindmeister.com. All four

tools can be used to engage students in collaborative

knowledge production processes during classes, but

they can also be used on a more individual and private

    basis before and after class.

This last session will bring together all the learning of the

programme, and apply it onto your teaching, followed by

    peer-to-peer reections.

What is the excellent executive experience? How do we

reach even higher? And where do I go from here?
