INTRODUCING ...

The Cast:

Bill Bishop (P. A. Announcer) this is Bill's first part with AACT . He remembers playing the lead in Grandpa Steps Out in ninth grade as the high point in his theatrical career. Bill is early morning DJ at WAAM.

Bob Starring (Gen. Manly) is a librarian in the graduate library at the U of M. He toured India with the USIS theatre in 1958, has worked for the U of M Television Center, and in The Visit with AACT.

Joseph Medrano (Gen. Reamer) has appeared many times with AACT, most recent­ly in Cactus Flower. He has worked in countless capacities behind the scenes as well as onstage, and has served as a vice president. Joe teaches mathematics at Allen Park High School.

Jerome Patterson (Adm. Beebe) appeared for the first time onstage 40 years ago (when he was very young) and he has been involved with civic theatres ever since. Jerry has been both president and treasurer of AACT and has served two terms on the Board. He is editor of "The Education Digest."

David Harbison (Gen. Fitch) was last seen in last year's The Fantastics. A sales representative for Central Steel and Wire, Dave has appeared in many AACT productions, including South Pacific, Mary Mary, Mr. Roberts, and A Man for All Seasons.

Ken Johnson (Sen. Bayeau) was described recently in the Detroit News as em­barking on a "zooming career" in commercial TV. Ken is a former AACT Board member. He won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Guys and Dolls. Ken was last seen in Cactus Flower.

John L Henkel (Sen. Si/vermilk) is a counselor at Pioneer High School. He played the title role in Finian's Rainbow, and has appeared in opera, with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, with Regional Oratory, and sang the role of Melchoir in Amah/ and the Night Visitors.

Judy Reicker (Lt. Trudhomme) won the Best Actress award for her role in Gypsy and Best Supporting Actress award for South Pacific. She has performed in and choreographed eight Gi I bert and Sullivan Society productions, is a co-founder of the Counci I for the Performing Arts, and is chairman of the fund drive for the Power Center for the Performing Arts. Producer and director of the annual Christmas Sing, Judy is also women's news editor for WAAM.

William Hall (Capt. Frank Lee) has an MA in voice from the U of M and is now working as a substitute music teacher at Burns Park School. He has appeared in My Fair Lady, Pirates of Penzance with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, operas with the School of Music, and Amah/ and the Night Visitors.

Robert Armstrong (Fuzzgo) is a student at the U of M School of Music. This is his 29th appearance in a musical. Most of his appearances have been in Midland where he worked with the Civic Theatre and the Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Most recently he appeared in the School of Music production of Three Penny Opera.

Ginger Myers (Cindy Little) last appeared with AACT in The Fantastics. Ginger is reigning this year as Miss Michigan and is working on her master's degree in drama. She has appeared with MUSKET in Sweet Charity and My Fair Lady.

Keith Austin Brown (Sentry) a former voice major in the School of Music, now studies privately with H. Kraus. He has been seen in Marne, What Are You wearing to the Revolution. George M, and the Creative Arts Festival's original musical.

Max Daehler (Counter) is a physicist at Bendix. He plays the clarinet in a cham­ber group and has been a member of the chorus of The Mikado and Brigadoon.

Jerry Scofield (Military Police) is AACT's ticket agent. Jerry is a member of the Washtenaw County Sui lding Department and is an AACT stalwart.

Lyle Green (Military Police) appeared in The Flowering Peach and Flornanoff and Juliet. Lyle often works backstage on props.

Alice Broushko is a graduate student in English at the U of M. She appeared in Marne and The Fantastics.

Heather Bostian works for Litton Dental Division. She has danced in concert at EMU and figure skates in shows with the Figure Skating Club.

William Dannemiller is a sophomore at Washtenaw Community College. "Luke" has appeared in Of Mice and Men and The Cocktail Party.

Jerry Dillenbeck is a sophomore at the U of M. Jerry has been a member of ten choirs and sung throughout the state.

Mary Ann Hall is a vocal music teacher in the public schools. She is the wife of Capt. Lee, and has directed children's plays.

Jim Kane is the County- Farm Editor of the Ann Arbor News. He was last seen in The Fantastics. Jim is currently a member of the AACT Board.

Kathie Lucas is new to acting but she loves to talk, laugh, and make noise so she should get along fine.

David Marshall has a great deal of experience as a dancer, he has worked with Civic Ballet, Dance Theatre, Dance Workshop, and the U of M concert dance organization.

Kathleen Morris has been in many musicals and brings much experience to her role. She also makes beadwork which she sells at the art fair in summer.

Nedlaw is a student now on leave and working on the assembly of boats. He has appeared in, among many others, A Touch of the Poet and The Miser.

Dave Roeger is a sophomore in mechanical engineering at the U of M. He dances with the Civic Ballet and was last seen this year in Man of LaMancha.

Carol Shulman has been working onstage since she was five years old, and is now on the Executive Board of the Pioneer High Theatre Guild.

Bryan S. Snorden is also a student at Pioneer. He was in a production of Richard Ill with the R. B. G. travel troupe.

Mary Ann Stevenson is a teacher and the wife of the producer of this show. She was last seen as the fortune teller in Skin of our Teeth.

Carren Ann Thomas was responsible for the publicity for this production and is a member of the AACT Board.
