    1(1) The program shall define its profile of autonomousprofessionals to be fostered. The program shall take

    account of traditions, resources and fields of

    graduates to define the profile of professionals. The

    profile of professionals shall be defined by giving

    consideration to the requirements of the society and

    the demands of the students. The program shall

    broadly publicize the profile of professionals. The

    profile shall be made well-known to the students and

    faculty.

    program intends to foster defined? The program has defined the profile to foster as "Be able to identify,

    formulate, and solve engineering problems including design, construction,

    management and application of agricultural machinery, farm structures,

    agricultural product and foodprocessing, renewableenergy, and agricultural

    system and management; as well as havingprofessional and

    entrepreneurship character, concerns to the development of science andtechnology, effective communication,and compliance to engineering ethics".

    We consider the nature of AE application in Indonesia, faculty staffs,employers, government, and AE graduate schools in other universities as

    our constituents. Direct interactions with employers of graduates occurs

    through field practice supervision which is conducted regualrly at faculty

    level, and the Career Development and Alumni Affairs, which is conducted

    at university level. Indirect interaction with our constituents takes place

    through periodic surveys we conduct in order to measure quality of MBE's

    alumni. In those surveys, among other questions, we focus on acceptability

    of our alumni by users, solicit their opinions and suggestions for

    improvement. The gathered information was taken into account in

    determining the profile of professional as outcome of the program.
