State Goalkeeper Camp @ Hinds Community College Raymond, MS June 16-18, 2017 The State GK Camp will be a three-day residential camp held at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS June 16-18, 2017. This will be an intense, yet fun, camp that is available for Goalkeepers at every level ages 9-17. Our ODP Coaches and Training Staff are all nationally licensed coaches. The training sessions and games will be led by this highly qualified staff. The focus of the camp is to improve each individual’s skills (technical, tactical, physical, and psychological) specific to the goalkeeper position. The focus of this camp is heavily focused on technique and will also include tactical application through Small-Sided Games (SSG’s). We will also have “Goalkeeper-robics” each morning that will focus on footwork & agility with and without the ball in a fun setting (to music). Camp will also include classroom (lectures & video presentations) and team building activities throughout camp as well. Location, Dates & Cost 501 E Main Street, Raymond, MS 39154 * It is located just 30 minutes west of Jackson, MS. June 16-18, 2017 Cost: $410 Registration Deadline: May 15, 2017 Medical Qualified full-time athletic trainers will be on duty throughout the duration of camp to care for minor injuries and sickness. For more serious emergencies, Merit Health Central Hospital will be used. Trainers also reside in the dorms. All campers must have proof of personal medical insurance. Housing and Meals Campers are housed in the same dormitories used by the Hinds CC students. The dorms are air-conditioned, have bathrooms in each dorm room and a common area in each lobby. There are also laundry facilities in each dorm. You may request one roommate. We will do our best to accommodate your request of additional friends/teammates as nearby as possible. The Hinds Community College Dining Services will provide meals. The staff and chaperones will also be housed in the dorms and provide 24- hour supervision.

Campers will train with in a residential setting for three days. The focus of the camp is on improving individual GK technique with an equal emphasis on understanding the game and the player's role within a team to be successful as a strong Goalkeeper!

Each GK will receive a full Admiral GK kit (GK jersey, GK shorts, & socks), two dri-fit shirts, an Admiral iPro Soccer Ball (superior match ball).

This is a specialized goalkeeper program, which will allow the goalkeepers to receive position specific training and match play. Goalkeeper sessions will be run by the State GK coaches that are nationally licensed & have a strong playing & coaching background!

The State GK Camp is led by Serge Lipovetsky State Technical Director Mississippi Soccer Association

Coach Stephen Otto will lead as the Assistant Camp Director for the State GK Camp.
