Welcome….
As your local estate agent, we thought it might be quite nice to introduce ourselves and share some of our local knowledge. The borough of Walsall is located in the north of the West Midlands, immediately north of Birmingham. It is one of the four 'Black Country' boroughs along with Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell.
In addition to Walsall's town centre with its excellent range of shops and well-known street market, the borough has a wide variety of district and local centres, each with its own distinctive character and appeal including; Aldridge, Bloxwich, Brownhills, Pelsall and Willenhall.
Walsall has a surprising diversity of rural and urban areas. Valuable environmental assets include extensive countryside, green spaces, wildlife habitats and urban heritage. Together these provide countryside and urban 'green space' that offer natural beauty and recreation. For instance, the canal towpaths and disused railway lines that provide a walking network.

Galleries & Museums The New Art Gallery Walsall Gallery Square Walsall WS2 8LG The New Art Gallery Walsall presents, collects and interprets historic, modern and contemporary art in innovative and challenging ways. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sundays 12noon - 4pm (closed Mondays and Bank Holidays) and welcomes visitors from all over the globe. We aim to increase the understanding and enjoyment of arts and culture through our dynamic exhibition, education and event programme.
The changing exhibition programme on Floors 3 and 4 focuses on the contemporary visual arts. Presenting both solo and group shows and through artists projects we aim to support and develop the work of living artists and to build and develop audiences for the visual arts. The Garman Ryan exhibition programme on Floor 2 explores the many themes of the collection and presents mainly historic temporary exhibitions, it also showcases many interesting and contemporary works from the collection making interesting connections between old and new art. Open Spaces Aldridge Airport
Walsall outdoors pursuits at Aldridge Airport has an outdoors activity centre and Environmental Learning Centre on the same site. The Centre was opened on 15 January 2008 by Princess Anne and has a wide range of facilities including a meeting room, indoor climbing wall, kitchen facilities, changing rooms and showers with access for children with disabilities. The Arboretum is the premier park within Walsall, located immediately adjacent to the town centre. It is one of the oldest parks in the borough, having been originally developed around two large flooded limestone quarries, opening as a public park in 1874.The total area of the Arboretum today is 73.5 hectares. The older Victorian areas of the park are located closest to the town centre and are more formal in nature. The core of the park includes some iconic buildings and structures such as the Arboretum Clock Tower, the Boathouse, a 1920’s Bandstand and the former Tea Pavilion (Leckie Sons of Rest building). More informal features are located in the southeastern area of the park including children’s play facilities, the lido and a trim trail.
