4. RevisionsandDeviations

4.1. RevisionoftheLetterofAgreement,includingtheAnnexesTherevisionofthepresentLetterofAgreement,includingtheAnnexes,requiresthemutualwrittenconsentofthesignatories,normallytheHeadsofOperationsattherespectiveunits.

4.2. TemporaryDeviationsWhennecessary,thecontrollersconcernedmayintroduce,bymutualagreementandforaspecifiedtimeperiod,temporarymodificationstotheprocedureslaiddownintheAnnexestothepresentLetterofAgreement.

Acontrollerfromoneunitshallinformthecontrolleroftheotherunitaboutthecancellationofamutualagreementifheplanstogoofflineandtheagreementwillnotbecontinuedbythecontrollertakingoverthesector.

ofACCPADOVAandACCZURICH,andbetweentheseandotherflights;o trafficlandingatLIMCviaODINA/AKASU/CANNE.

Thetransferringcontrollershallinformtheacceptingcontrollerofanylevel,speedorvectoringinstructionsgiventoaircraftpriortoitstransferandwhichmodifiesitsanticipatedflightprogressatthepointoftransfer.ThisshallbedonebyenteringtherespectiveinformationintotheTAG.

E.1.1 MaximumHandoffRateAunitcanorderamaximumhandoffrateforaspecifictime.Itremainseffectiveuntileitherthetimehasexpiredoritwascancelledbytherequesting-unit.Thenone-requesting-unitshallstrictlysticktosuchanorderaslongasitiseffective.

Ineachcase,aunitshallmonitorthetrafficsituationintheotherunit.Ifnecessary,aunitshallatitsowndiscretionestablishsuitablemeasurestorelievetheotherunit.Thiscanbebye.g.areducedhandoffrate,enrouteholdingsorspeedreductions.

E.2 SilentHandoffProcedureBetweenVATITAandvACCSwitzerland,thesilenthandoffprocedureshallbeappliedasfollows:

• Simultaneoustransferofcommunicationandidentificationbythedispatchingcontroller

• Acceptanceofidentificationbythereceivingcontrollerwhenthetrafficisincontact
