General 1.1.Purpose The purpose of this Letter of Agreement is to define the co-ordination procedures to be applied between VATITA (LIMM, LIPP) and vACC Switzerland (LSAS) when providing ATS. 2. Areas of Responsibility for the Provision of ATS 2.1. Areas of Responsibility The lateral and vertical limits of the respective areas of responsibility are as follows: 2.1.1. 4. RevisionsandDeviations

4.1. RevisionoftheLetterofAgreement,includingtheAnnexesTherevisionofthepresentLetterofAgreement,includingtheAnnexes,requiresthemutualwrittenconsentofthesignatories,normallytheHeadsofOperationsattherespectiveunits.

4.2. TemporaryDeviationsWhennecessary,thecontrollersconcernedmayintroduce,bymutualagreementandforaspecifiedtimeperiod,temporarymodificationstotheprocedureslaiddownintheAnnexestothepresentLetterofAgreement.

Acontrollerfromoneunitshallinformthecontrolleroftheotherunitaboutthecancellationofamutualagreementifheplanstogoofflineandtheagreementwillnotbecontinuedbythecontrollertakingoverthesector.

C.1 GeneralConditionsforAcceptanceofFlightsCo-ordinationofflightsshalltakeplacebyreferencetothecoordinationpoint(COP)andinaccordancewiththeappropriatelevelsspecifiedfortherelevantroute(seeparagraphsC.2andC.4).

Flightsshallbeconsideredtobemaintainingtheco-ordinatedlevelatthetransferofcontrolpointunlessclimbordescentconditionshavebeenclearlystatedbyco-ordination,exceptifotherwisedescribedinparagraphsC.2andC.4.

IftheacceptingATSunitcannotacceptaflightofferedinaccordancewiththeconditionsspecifiedabove,itshallclearlyindicateitsinabilityandspecifytheconditionsunderwhichtheflightwillbeaccepted.

C.2 ATS-Routes,Co-ordinationPointsandLevelAllocationTraffic,whichisnothandedoffatalevelasdescribedintheparagraphsbelow,shallbeonanoddFLwhenflyingsouthboundandonaneventFLwhenflyingnorthbound.

Forclimbingtraffichigherlevelmaybeassignedregardlessoftheparagraphsbelow,preconditionedthattrafficreachestheclearedlevelbeforecrossingtheCOP.
