Current problem:-long wait times-overcrowding of the dining courts’ lobbies

Our mission:-observe guest wait times-propose a solution to queuing the lines-increase students awareness of the line situation

RECOMMENDED APPROACH• We have developed a multi-tiered approach to research the problems previously stated and

come up with the best possible solutions.

Observation• Spend time in the dining court lobbies,

observing the lines and student behavior   

Collect Data• analyze relevant data pertaining to projects goals

• line wait times, line formation, lobby layouts, student flow, etc.• Interview students to gain feedback and their point of view

Research• evaluate dining systems in place at other large universities

help the students to look at the dining court lobby and assess where to go eat depending on the number of people

EXPECTED RESULTS-Help students make informed decisions on

which dining court to attend based on line

wait times, menus, and location. Keep

students informed and aware of the issue

should help curb the lines

maximize the lobby space and get as many

students out of the elements as possible
