Leonardo di piero Da Vinci, the observant man, was one of the biggest or greatest creators and inventors of the world, his curiosity and intelligence was all in his life, even himself alleged being the most intelligent man around the earth. We all know him as a painter because of the “Mona Lisa”, the most famous paint of the world, but that isn’t enough, he was everything we wanted to be, I can call him “The multiple sciences man”. All started in his childhood. He wasn’t a legitimate child, they were abandoned and then Ser Piero adopted Da Vinci when the mom Caterina married him. While Ser Piero lived in wealth, Caterina had to live in poverty and misery. All of this affected the perspective of Da Vinci’s world and helped him to increase his development. All started because he was isolated, isolation which make him produce his own paradise and overcome it with the art. The first symptom of the art love tormented him; he started yearning for a flying machine and putting on the page imaginary monsters. His dad questioned that when he discovered his shield “Jellyfish with dragons”. Also, spellbound by nature he started watching the flora and fauna that was around him. He did too many things that changed the world; one of the most relevant to me was in anatomy. As I saw in my school in biology subject, he discovered the symmetry and proportion of the human body, justifying it with “Vitruvian Man”, a man inside a circle and a square that let us see for example, that the length of a man's outspread arms (arm span) is equal to his height ... Because of him “Artistic Biology” was created. Da Vinci also drew about the gestation. He invented the scissors, something simple but very useful. And recalling his childhood his longing of a flying machine became true, he invented de Parachute, there wasn’t enough technology to create one, but he sketched it in 15 th century. As an engineer he created a small bridge.

As I saw in my school in biology subject, he discovered the symmetry and proportion of the human body, justifying it with “Vitruvian Man”, a man inside a circle and a square that let us see for example, that the length of a man's outspread arms (arm span) is equal to his height...

All of the things mentioned above were printed in pages with draws and little texts, that’s one of the reason he is considered as an artist. Something strange but awesome about Da Vinci, was that he wrote everything in opposite side because that was information that he wanted to keep to oneself. So if you wanted to read something, you should put a mirror to try it. He didn’t wanted to spread the world of his inventions because he was afraid of being copied.

One of the phrases I love more is “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” Because that means that fly is an experience that cannot be forgotten and you get there, you can’t come back and tt can be interpreted as his desire of fly or you can make your own judgment too, comparing it with your life experience, applying it with something you like and you can leave.

As we can see, Da Vinci was more than a painter, he was a musician, writer, engineer, inventor, scientist, etc. The reason he was everything was because one day he wanted to be something, but the next day we wanted to be another thing, we wasn’t conformist. And as he said “I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” This tell us that we need to do what we like, if we know something we must do it, we can’t leave it in our mind just like that, we can change the world doing something, not just imagining and forgetting after.

Da Vinci, to me, means the possibility of be whatever you want and he teached me the power of the imagination and how you can take advantage of it, things don’t come alone if you don’t look for them, and if you don’t take advantage of your virtues and skills you will lose it, depriving yourself of live things never imagined and make the others live them too. We can be the difference tomorrow or be the same thing forever.
