Stimulus: is any event that happens in the environment, itcan be a sound(like someone shouting) a scene(a caraccident, a fight. etc...), events(like receiving a paycheck).
Organism: is a person, so in OB you can consider that to be
an employee or an employer. Behavior: the organism behavior and response in regardsto the stimulus( for example a child(Organism) may hit(Behavior) his brother after seeing a violentmovie(Stimulus).
Consequence: is the outcome that comes after thebehavior, it either reinforces(thus repeated) the behavioror punished(thus not repeated). In the child examplepreviously mentioned, his mother canreprimand(Consequence: punishment) him for doing whathe did.

Refers to the manner in which a personexperience the world.
It is the process by which people organize,
interpret & experience ideas & use stimulusmaterials in the environment so that they satisfy their needs.
It involves deciding which information to notice, how to categorize this information & how tointerpret it with in the framework of ourexisting knowledge .

External factors :- The perception process isinfluenced by external factors, which may beobjects & situations .
- Size- Situations- Repetition
- Objects- Novelty - Motion
- Familiarity

Internal Factors :- Internal factors arewithin the personal control of the
perceivers. They are based on thefollowing :-- Psychological Set-up
- Personality - Motivation- Learning
- Economic & Social Background

The process of perception isreceiving,selecting,organising,interpreting,ch
ecking & reacting to stimuli. It is like a Input-Throughput-Output
process. Input – Stimuli Throughput – transformation of ‘ inputs’ via
selection,organisation & interpretation Outputs – ultimate behaviour & action.

It is the process by which people group stimuli into recognizablepatterns .
Selection gives way to organization & the stimuli selected forattention now appear as a whole.
Certain factors as follows helps in understanding the perceptualOrganization :-Ambiguous figures- Figure background- Figure Ground- Perceptual Grouping
