the“veins” on both sides of each leaf

b. Label “Veins”, “Upper Epidermis”, and “Petiole on each side.

c. With both labeled sides facing outward, glue the two petioles together.

Step 3• Fold the tip

of the outside leaf back so it looks like this.

Step 4• Cut out

chloroplasts from extra green paper. Try to make it looked scalloped.

• Outline the waved edge in black, and color green.

Step 5• Glue the

chloroplasts to the middle of folded leaf

Step 6• Draw the

stomata's (circles) in black marker in locations shown.

• Color circles light green.

• Color inside tip dark green.

Step 7• Color one

arrow• Label it

“Carbon Dioxide enters through stomata”

• Glue it with arrow pointing toward stomata as shown.

the other 3 arrows different colors

• Label 1 “Energy from Sunlight”

• Label another “Water from Roots”

• Label the last “Glucose leaves the leaf to feed plant”

• Open the folded leaf

• Paste each in the appropriate place, as shown.
