this time of great
uncertainty, we have
a glimmer of hope
when we see the
daily progress of the
course restoration.
After three years of
intense planning,
permitting and preparation, heavy equip-
ment is on site and all
kinds of work is taking
place.
As layers of turf
were being scraped,
plenty of golf balls
were unearthed. This one, a #3 Wilson Billy
Casper circa 1962, turned up. Just a small
token of history we thought we’d share!
Social Distancing at Coral RidgeHaving always been a place where friends
and family gather, we are of course hoping
that we'll soon be able to re-open our doors
and celebrate the end of social distancing
with you! At the time this newsletter is going
to press, there is much uncertainty in regards
to the upcoming Club events and programs
listed in this issue, please stay tuned to emails
being sent for the latest news on possible
cancellations and or postponements.
Course Restoration has Begun!

Yes, the Championship 18 will be
closed for the restoration, but when the
quarantine is lifted, hopefully in May,
our Rees 9 course, Tennis, Pool and all
dining areas will be open. Come watch
the progress!
Lightning Alert!A lightning detection system has been
installed at the Club so no matter where
you are, if you hear a loud 15-second
horn blast, it’s your responsibility to heed
the warning and head for cover.
Pop Up Tasting EventsWe love to be consistently great at
what we do, but we also like to mix
things up! When we reopen, look for a
couple of unusual tastings this spring
including an educational RUM tasting
and possibly a virtual tasting.
I Love Golf! How many kids make cards for their
golf teachers? Alex Pitino let Jimmy
Rockelman know just how much she
loves golf, and loves having him as her
teacher, with a handmade card!

planning on ways we can bring you more

For now, we have cancelled our events for
April and are hopeful that the tentative dates
for May events will be confirmed soon!
