Información Sobre Sacramentos BAUTIZOS

Platicas Pre-Bautismales en español son el 2do y ultimo lunes del mes a las 5:30 PM en el templo. Por favor no traigan niños, pues distraen a las personas. Los Bautizos se celebran los sábados a las 9:30 AM.

MATRIMONIO Por favor no fijar fecha para la boda antes de hablar con un sacerdote. Usted puede llamar a la Oficina Parroquial para hacer una cita con el sacerdote. Las parejas deben de comenzar los preparativos para el sacramento cuando menos con 6 meses de anticipación a la fecha de la boda. Las parejas necesitan asistir a clases pre-matrimoniales.

UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS Puede llamar a la Oficina Parroquial para hacer una cita con el sacerdote para confesiones, comunión y unción de los enfermos. Les pedimos a nuestros feligreses que se encarguen de sus necesidades espirituales antes de ir al hospital.

Sacrament Information BAPTISMS

Baptism classes are held every third Saturday of the month promptly at 11:00 AM in the Chapel /Hospitality Room. Baptisms in English will be celebrated every Sat-urday at 8:30 AM.

MARRIAGE Please do not set a wedding date before you talk to a priest. Call the Parish Office to make an appointment with a priest to schedule your wedding. Couples must begin their preparation for the sacrament at least 6 months in advance of their wedding date. Couples must attend the marriage preparation classes.

ANNOINTING OF THE SICK

You may call the Parish Office to make an appointment to see a priest for confession, communion and anointing of the sick. We encourage our parishioners to have their spiritual needs taken care of before they go to the hospi-tal.

The Epiphany of the Lord This last Sunday within the Christmas Season is the Epiphany of the Lord. The Epiphany of the Lord is the Solemnity in which we recall, through the Magi Kings and the Star, that all nations are invited to sing the Lord’s praises; they have been called to

hear the Good News and worship the long - awaited Messiah and King with the gift of their lives.

Tu es Sacerdos in Aeternum - You are a Priest Forever Next Sunday, I celebrate my 30th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination. I was ordained a priest at the Guard-ian Angel Cathe-dral (then the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Reno - Las Vegas) on Saturday, January 16, 1988, by Bishop Walsh. I can hardly believe that it was 30 years ago! And I have had so many blessed priestly ministry experiences and memories since then. In gratitude to Almighty God for the gift of my vocation to the Holy Priesthood of Jesus Christ, I will offer Masses of Thanksgiving with you here at Saint Anne next Sunday, January 14th, at 10:00 AM (in Spanish) and 12:00 Noon (in Eng-lish). An ordination anniversary reception will fol-low in the Ghanem Center Gym after the Noon Mass. All are invited. Know that I keep all of you, my parish family, in my prayers on that day. Saint Anne School – E. L. Wiegand Grant Recipient! Saint Anne Catholic School just received an E.L. Wiegand Grant in the amount of $163,000. This grant has been offered to St. Anne School so that we can expand school buildings to create a special Mu-sic / Arts Room for our students. School Registration Fast Approaching St. Anne School enrollment for the 2018 – 2019 school year, Pre-K - Grade 8. FUN FAIR Fruits We will use all our Fun Fair proceeds to replace the air conditioner at the Ghanem Center Gym. The total cost of that project is $56,000, which exceeds our Fun Fair proceeds by about $8,000. Installation is to be completed before school returns this Monday January 8. Praise God!

CSA 2017 – With over 400 families of Saint Anne participating in CSA at year end, we have surpassed met diocesan goal, and can fund various parish pro-jects. Know that the Diocese keeps CSA 2017 open through January 15. If one wants to make a 2018 charitable donation and have it credited for tax de-duction in 2017, you may still do so through the CSA.

CSA 2017 Con mas de 400 Familias de Santa Ana participando, hemos cumplido nuestro objetivo diocesano y po-demos financiar nuestros proyectos parroquiales. Ya que la Diocesis mantiene abiertas las donaciones para el Diezmo hasta el 15 de Enero. Frutos de la Feria de La Divercion Usaremos todas las ganancias de la Feria de la Di-vercion para reemplazar el aire acondicionado en el Gimnasio Ghanem. El costo total de ese proyecto es de $ 56,000, lo que supera los ingresos de nuestra Feria de Diversiones en aproximadamente $ 8,000. La instalación debe completarse antes de que la es-cuela regrese este lunes 8 de enero. ¡Alabado sea Dios!

¡Santa Ana por la beca recibida! La escuela de Santa Ana acaba de recibir la beca E.L. Wiegand por la cantidad de $163,000.00. Esta beca fue ofrecida a la escuela de Sta. Ana para poder expandir los edifi-cios de la escuela y crear un salon especial de Mu-sica y Arte para nuestros alumnos. Gracias Señor –Gracias Wiegand- ¡Felicidades Cruzados!

Donaciones beneficas de Fin de Año Solo las contribuciones del Diezmo son las que siguen abiertas para el 2017. La Diocesis mantendra el Diezmo 2017 abierto hasta el 15 de Enero, la ofi-cina diocesana preparara las cartas de impuestos del Diezmo a mas tardar el 31 de Enero. Las cartas de donaciones de Santa Ana se prepararan a mas tardar el 31 de Enero del 2018.
