Realis ing the benefits of verti- cal mult i s tage in-line pumps

DP-Pumps, in the Ne ther lands , has d e v e l o p e d th ree families of ver t ica l mul t i s tage in-line cen- trifugal pumps .

The n e w p u m p s , the DPV and DPVS series , offer many advantages .Al l c o m p o n e n t s in contac t wi th the p u m p e d medi- um are made of s tainless steel. The DPV ser ies is made f rom AISI 304, and the DPVS ser ies f rom AISI 316. Longer se rv ice life, enhanced pe r fo rmance and improved hygiene are the result.

The pe r fo rmance also bene- fits from the op t imized shaping of various c o m p o n e n t s - such as the diffusers - result ing in h igher eff iciency, and l o w e r ene rgy r equ i r emen t s . The average p o w e r saving is a p p r o x i m a t e l y 10%.

Another impor tan t feature is t ha t , compared wi th previous of

DP-Pumps optimised component design has result- ed in an average 10% power saving.

The p u m p s of the DPV and DPVS ser ies have a deep- d r a w n and w e l d e d pump- foo t . The DPVS is avai lable w i t h in te rna l - th read f langes, DIN f langes or w i t h Victaul ic connect ions .

The n e w p u m p types arc s u p p l i e d as DPV 10, DPV 18, DPV 14 and DPVS 10,DPVS 18 and DPVS 14. The m a x i m u m capaci ty is 12 m3/h for the DPV 10 and DPVS 10 series.The max- imum c a p a c i t y is 12 m3/h for the DPV 14 and DPVS 14, and 24 m3/h for the DPV 18 and DPVS 18 series.

A unique solid stainless steel body p r o t e c t s the rugged Premier 2000 against corrosion, e ros ion and p roces s carryover . The uni t has a l ow prof i le for f lex ib i l i ty and ease of installa- t ion to faci l i ta te re t ro f i t t ing exis t ing sys tems. Ang led 45 ° inlets a l low p ip ing and installa- t ion opt ions never before possi-

ble. This makes it eas ie r to re t rof i t older, o b s o l e t e equip- men t w h e r e space is limited.

Its s ta inless s tee l body, no t cas t l ike t r ad i t iona l p u m p s , means it can stand up to impuri- ties w h i c h quickly bui ld up in a c losed hot wa te r system.

The vacuum p u m p was deve loped using state of the art technology: 3D, solid model ing, CAD/CAM and f ini te e l e m e n t analysis. The p u m p internals are des igned to minimize the effects of scale build-up caused by hard or p o o r quality water. Cartr idge bear ings are se lec ted to provide more than 20 years of t rouble- free operat ion.

The Waukesha Cherry-Burre l l Universal /Industr ial 5000 Series ro t a ry pos i t ive d i s p l a c e m e n t p u m p fea tures a gear case design wi th three-way mount ing abil i ty for shaft and in le t /ou t le t pos i t ion opt ions.

The series is des igned to use commerc ia l ly available mechani- cal shaft seals to match a partic- ular app l ica t ion in m o d e r n cor- rosion-,hazardous- and abrasion- resistant materials.
