BLENDED LEARNING

This German course is a combination of self-directed learning and classroom sessions. You will learn at your own pace, wherever you happen to be. In the classroom sessions you will solidify your grasp of what you have learned and in particular work on phonetics, conversation skills, challenging grammatical topics, group work and interactive exercises.

Blended learning is the ideal programme for those who wish to learn quickly but do not have time to attend regular classroom courses. Other suitable candidates for this course type are those who live far away from the institute.

Another advantage of blended learning is that you save close to 50% of the time you would spend on a regular intensive course. You also enjoy flexibility of time, space and learning pace.

Students normally don’t have to pay tuition fees at German universities, and if so, the fees are very low. Most German universities receive considerable financing from the government. Bachelor’s degree programmes are usually tuition-free at state universities. Some master’s degree programmes, however, come with tuition fees, but they’re not as high as in other countries.

As an international student with outstanding academic achievement, there are good chances of receiving a scholarship to finance one’s studies in Germany. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is one of the largest scholarship organisations in the world and offers countless scholarship programmes, not only those offered by the DAAD, but also by many other organisations in Germany.

4. STUDY IN ENGLISH.

More and more courses and degree programmes are being offered in English, especially at the master’s degree level. This is good news if one doesn’t know any German or if their German isn’t good enough yet.

6. VERY AFFORDABLE LIVING EXPENSES.

Compared with other European countries, the cost of living in Germany is reasonable. The cost of food, rent, clothing and cultural activities are equivalent to the EU average.
