Our 10-week courses include a coursework component and 10 x 1.5-hour group sessions.The coursework component will be delivered online and allows for a flexible learning scenario: students choose when/where to complete set coursework and receive feedback from their teachers within 48 hours of completion. Group sessions can be attended online or face-to-face at the Goethe-Institut, subject to availability. During the group sessions, students will practice their speaking as well as consolidating new grammatical content. The course content and progress is identical for both options.

These courses are designed to run online for the full duration of each level, and they are more intensive than Blended Learning 50 Courses. There are five virtual online group meetings and you will be working more independently in this format compared to Blended Learning 50 courses. Nonetheless, your progress is monitored closely and you will be well supported by your teacher throughout the whole course.

ONLINE LEARNINGLearn German online — Interactive, Anytime, Anywhere! In our 16-week online group courses you can learn German anywhere you like, with lessons customized to your schedule. However, you will not be learning alone but in a small group of enthusiastic learners of German, under continuous guidance of your experienced teacher. You can complete a whole level (A1–B1) within the duration of the course by completing set tasks on your learning platform. Your teacher will continuously give you feedback about your progress and/or send you personalised learning strategies. During the course’s virtual live sessions (6 per course), you can practice your speaking, apply the structures you have learnt and ask any questions you might have.

Course access will be granted to students on the listed start dates.Live sessions will be determined between the instructor and the students.

Numerous songs and audio-visual materials encourage learning while also ensuring that children enjoy discovering the German language. The written word (reading/writing) does not yet play a large role. Lessons are held face-to-face at the Goethe-Institut.

MY GRAMMAR RULES FOR ADULTSGet some bite-size chunks of German grammar under your belt in our fortnightly, Tuesday evening 90-minute Grammar Workshops. One challenging grammatical concept will be explained, applied and consolidated in an interactive online session. If your (least) favourite topic is not on our menu, please get back to us!
