4-wheel Active Height Control (AHC)

Designed for on- and off -road, A-TRC helps to keep you moving in the most adverse conditions. This intelligent traction control applies brake force to one wheel that may be slipping, while distributing power evenly between the three that are not.

Active Traction Control (A-TRC)

Drive off -road and the wheels remain fi rmly on the ground and provide greater traction. The stabiliser is disconnected. With the fl uid now allowed to fl ow freely through the system, each wheel can move with much more independence on uneven ground. The resulting longer wheel travel provides uncompromised traction and stability on the roughest terrain.

Such a problem is easily resolved! A Toyota socket adapter enables you to safely and securely connect your car’s tow bar wiring harness to that of a trailer or bicycle holder even if the plugs don’t match.

Toyota adapters are designed to provide a durable connection between diff erent types of plug sockets. They are available in three versions:

— 7 pin (car) to 13 pin (trailer).— 13 pin (car) to 7 pin (trailer). — 13 pin (car) to 12N-12S double socket (trailer).

Safety for you and your car is at the heart of the Toyota tow bar wiring harness. Individually designed for each Toyota model, the harness seamlessly integrates your car’s lights and signals with those on a towed trailer or rear bicycle holder.

The Duo Plus child restraint seat is for children between 9 kg and 18 kg (approx.8 months to 4 years). It anchors directly to the car body by locking into ISOFIX bars plus a top tether for added stability or can be secured with seatbelts in cars without ISOFIX locks. The Babysafe protects babies from birth to around 15 months (to 13 kg). An integral canopy guards against the sun and wind. The Kid seat for children between 15 kg and 36 kg (approx. 3 to 12 years) has an adjustable headrest and is designed to ensure correct seatbelt positioning for optimum impact protection.

Touring and towingCombine Toyota accessories with the Land Cruiser’s famous go- anywhere capability and the result is maximum freedom to explore life’s special adventures.

A choice of fi xed, fl anged or detachable tow bars with optional wiring kit enables you to take full advantage of the Land Cruiser’s strength and stability. All three bars have anti-corrosion surface treatments and provide the capability to tow anything from a trailer to a horsebox, boat or a caravan. The 2-positioned fl ange ball tow bar is also compatible with a ball and pin for alternative towing applications.

Increasing fl exibility even further is the Toyota roof rack or, if fi tted with accessory roof rails, a two or three crossbar system.
