Supt. Carlson provided aPower Point regarding NorthDakota Century Code Law 57-15-02.1 – requiring a public meetingif an increase is pending,
Property Tax Levy Increase &Public Hearing Information. Heproposed a Mill Levy increasetotaling 85.8 Mills/$1,415,000.00for the 2021-22 School year, bro-ken down to: 70.00 Mill or$1,193,931.00 Levy to theGeneral Fund; 10.00 Mill or a$165,000.00 Levy to the BuildingFund Levy; 3.8 Mill or $65,000.00Levy to the Miscellaneous Fund;and a 2.05 Mill or $35,000.00Levy for the Special ReserveFund. Time allowed for a ques-tion/answer period following thepresentation.
There being no objections tothe proposed request, the publicmeeting was adjourned at 6:30p.m.
The Board of Education ofthe LaMoure Public Schools heldits regular meeting in the Librarywith Mrs. Braun, Mrs. Potts, Mrs.Lacina, Mrs. Laney, Mrs. Duffy,Principals Isaacson andShockman by phone, Mrs.Bierman, Supt. Carlson, Mrs.Kallie Lehr and Mr. Art Hagebockpresent. Two students attendedthe meeting for Senior Privileges.

AUDITORS REPORT: theAuditors Report was present-ed from Rath & Mehrer whocompleted the FY 2020-2021audit in August.
ANNUAL COMPLIANCEREPORT: Supt. Carlson pre-sented the Annual ComplianceReports wherein we verify thatwe are legal under theDepartment of PublicInstruction Standards in theareas attached in the letter,such as our teachers hold avalid teaching license and arehighly qualified, backgroundchecks are conducted, curricu-lum meets requirements.
It was moved by Mrs.Duffy, seconded by Mrs. Laneyto approve the AnnualCompliance Report for theLaMoure Public School District#8. It was moved by Mrs. Potts,
seconded by Mrs. Laney toapprove the AnnualCompliance Report for theLaMoure Public School.It was moved by Mrs. Lacina
seconded by Mrs. Duffy toapprove the AnnualCompliance Report for theLaMoure Colony School.Assuming polled vote, all vot-

Carlson asked for suggestionsfor use of funds.
COVID PROTOCOLS:THE LaMoure County PublicHealth distributed a form letterfor school use if need be,regarding the protocols put inplace in the event of symp-toms. They Public Health willbe at the School October 15thadministering Flu vaccines.
TAX MEETING: Supt.Carlson reviewed the PublicTax Meeting, with no questionsfrom the board.
LEVY & BUDGET:Supt Carlson provided a hand-out for the 2021-2022Revenue and ExpenseBudget.
It was moved by Mrs.Laney, seconded by Mrs. Lacinato approve the 2021-22 GeneralFund Levy & Budget of$1,193,931.00, or 70.00 mill max-imum. Assuming polled vote, allvoting yes, carried.
It was moved by Mrs. Lacina,seconded by Mrs. Potts toapprove the 2021-22Miscellaneous Fund Levy &Budget of $65,000.00, or 3.8mills. Assuming polled vote, allvoting yes, carried.
It was moved by Mrs. Laney,
seconded by Mrs. Lacina toapprove the 2021-22 BuildingFund Levy & Budget of$165,000.00, or 10.00 mills.Assuming polled vote, all votingyes, carried.

approve the 2021-22 FoodService Budget, Amending theFFVP Grant to actual awardreceived expense/revenueamount to $8,305.00. It wasnoted that all students K-12received Free Meals commenc-ing the first day of school, August18, 2021 for the school year.Assuming polled vote, all votingyes, carried.
