The Beginning Stages

• All wood used is pine- Cut pieces - Cut walls- Logo’s- Cut supporting board- Cut score boards, and light

fixtures- Painted outside of walls and the

top portion of the inside walls- Used transparency paper and

construction paper for windows- Used wood glue and nails to

assemble walls

Inside The Stadium

Bleacher Area- Cut bleacher area using ¼ inch luan pieces- Used drywall mud, sanded, painted grey- Pained lines yellow to separate sections- Cut out squares for tunnels

- ½ inch Dowel rods for field goal posts and American flag- Laminated paper for football field and press box seats- Used wood glue to stabilize light fixtures, scoreboards, and tunnels

History of Historic Lambeau

• Originally named New City Stadium• Later named Lambeau Field after Curly Lambeau, Packers founder• The stadiums street address which is 1265 Lombardi Avenue was

named in honor of Vince Lombardi. The Lombardi trophy is also named after this coaching legend

• There is no single owner of the stadium, it is owned by the city of Green Bay and Green Bay/Brown county professional Football Stadium District

• Instead of building a new stadium, Packers Chairman Bob Harlan unveiled a $295 million plan to renovate the stadium in 2000-2003

• In 2007, the Packers completed their 51st season at Lambeau, breaking the all-time NFL record set by the Chicago Bears at Wrigley Field

• During the 2007 season, Lambeau Field was voted the number NFL stadium in game-day atmosphere and fan experience.

• Lambeau Field is among the NFL's toughest places to play. Green Bay holds an 107-37 regular-season record at Lambeau since 1992

• Over the past two decades, prior to the start of the redevelopment project, the Packers organization itself had spent more than $50 million on improvements to the stadium

• Sold out of season tickets since 1960

• Largest recorded crowd was 71,213 against Minnesota on November 2nd, 2009
