Seroka April 6, 2020 The Honorable City Council City of Los Angeles Room 395, City Hall Los Angeles, California 90012 Honorable Members: Subject: Waive Review of Specific Board of Harbor Commissioners Actions The Board of Harbor Commissioners (Board), held meetings on March 5, 2020 and April 2, 2020. Per Charter Section 245, actions of boards of commissioners shall become final at the expiration of the next five meeting days of the Council during which the Council has convened in regular session, unless the Council acts within that time to bring the action before it or to waive review of the action. The efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 have prolonged finalizing the actions taken by the Board. I respectfully request that pursuant to Charter Section 245(b), the Council hereby RESOLVE to waive review of the following critical and time-sensitive actions approved by Board: Board Actions Approved March 5, 2020: 3.
