MAXINE NIGHTINGALESunday, January 14th 8:00pm$18.00 Residents • $24.00 Non-ResidentsMaxine Nightingale is best known for her hits in the 1970’s, with the million sellers “Right Back Where We Started From,” “Love Hit Me,” and “Lead Me On.” Appearing in a handful of local clubs, she was signed by PYE RECORDS and recorded singles that include, “Spinning Wheel,” “Don’t Push Me Baby” and 1971’s “Love on Borrowed Time.” Maxine spent the early 70’s in the theater and developed her vocal talents through roles such as Jesus Christ Super Star, Hair, and Godspell. In addition, she appeared in the well-received London play Savages. After signing with United Artists, she debuted with “Right Back Where We Started From;” the song made the U.K.’s top 10 Hit List in November of 1975 and proved to be a hit in the United States, making it to the #2 spot on the pop charts in 1976. Her humor is in fact, very, very palatable. Most of her comedy revolves around the “square” persona she has developed for the stage. He is currently working on several projects based on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Dennis Lambert began his career in 1960 when he signed to Capitol Records as a recording artist. By the mid-1960’s, he was writing and producing for other artists. Songwriter and producer Dennis Lambert enjoyed success working for the ABC-Dunhill label where he and partner Brian Potter produced hit records for the Four Tops, Glen Campbell, Natalie Cole and The Commodores, among others. His number one records on every chart is an accomplishment that stands alone with all of his hit making songs which he calls his calling card. The audience will be completely surprised at who Dennis is after his high-energy music. With a screenplay for a movie currently underway, a streamlined version of the original show is put together with Mr. Lambert and his former backing band, Breeze, adding new songs and anecdotes that will surely appeal to a wide range of music fans. She has made several appearances on Comic Relief, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher and has hosted countless specials, series and events. In 1985, her comedy special Party of One broke new ground on cable stations blowing open the gates on television for female stand up comedians. Her most recent endeavors include sitting in for Radio Host, Stephanie Miller on her syndicated radio show and hosting the NBC game show Balderdash. Elayne has traveled the world doing stand-up from Las Vegas clubs and theaters to touring college campuses. She has entertained individuals such as the Queen of England at the London Palladium and President Clinton at the White House. Elayne is back by popular demand!!

They soon found that their versatile harmonies were in demand as backup for a myriad of 50’s and 60’s lead singers coming south to perform. As the population of Florida increased, so did the interest in having more of the old groups perform, so the Five Boroughs found themselves performing with every artist of the 50’s and 60’s era. They have performed throughout the United States and on numerous radio, TV and most major venues throughout Florida. The Five Boroughs have had years of musical performances for tens of thousands of satisfied fans.
