Entering Symbols and Studies with Chart Type

Replace “symbol” with the actual contract symbol. Search for studies by acronym on the Add Study window, and replace “acronym” with the actual study acronym, such as symbol\RSI.

Entering Continuation Values

Replace “symbol” with the actual contract symbol.

Wildcards allow you to automatically chart the most active, spot, or second month for a contract. Replace “symbol” with the actual contract symbol.

Applying Tools to a Chart

Shortcut ActionCTRL+ALT+D Open the Add a Study window. CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+D Open the Remove a Study window. CTRL+ALT+G Open the Specify Conditions window (on a

base curve).

CTRL+ALT+M Open the Modify All Study Parameters window.

F10

Hide the Daily Value Box, Cursor Value Box, SnapTrader®, and Order Book, if displayed. Press F10 again, and the tools are displayed again.

ESC Remove all active pointer tools and change the pointer tool selection to None.

CTRL+1 Show the first symbol and chart type in the list.

CTRL+2 Show the second symbol and chart type in the list.

The numbers are ordered by your top ten most recently used symbols.
