This past summer I had the awesome privilege of working with Word of Life’s Florida youth camp. God placed me in charge of all the campers, counselors, and people above the counselors. God put me in a position far out of my comfort zone and far from anything I deserve. It truly is a blessing to serve our King! This summer we saw just under 3,000 students arrive for camp, with over 2,000 professing some sort of a decision for Christ! I was able to see the summer camp ministry in a whole new light. It was a blessing to pour into my unit leaders and counselors and to just watch God grow all of us throughout the summer ministry. God used various trials and tribulations to stretch us all, so that He could mold us into the men and women He wants us to be. It was neat to minister to campers who had the same mentality that I had as a youngster. I was able to use my past failures and lessons learned to challenge these students from the Word of God about how to lay aside their weights, and sin that so easily ensnares them (Heb 12). I also saw many students trust Christ as their personal Savior and watched the process of discipleship begin. We plug all new believers in with a local church that will continue to disciple these young believers when they get home. I have seen many blessings in my life, but none of them compares with the riches of serving Jesus Christ! Our GOD reigns!!! WOL Superbowl: Springfield, MA This fall I will run my very own Word of Life Superbowl! A WOL Superbowl is an all-night event, where anywhere from 1,500 to 4,000 teens attend. The teens will arrive at the AHL hockey game in Springfield, MA and will be treated to a game, followed by an epic rally and Gospel message! We will have a dynamic speaker give a clear and concise Gospel message, followed by individual counseling with those who make a decision for Christ. We will then have a huge rally with many prizes and awards right on the Springfield Falcons home ice! The teens will then embark to many different venues throughout the city to have an all-night adventure! The time is almost here!! You are asking yourself, “What time?” Well, let me tell you! Missionary-in-Training school is the process of going from an interested missionary to becoming an actual missionary for Word of Life! In early June of 2010, I will go before the Board of Review for Word of Life. During this process, they will drill me on my doctrines, review my application and my past two years of IDP (Intern Discipleship Program). Lord willing, I will be accepted

and become an official Word of Life missionary. At this point, they will tell me officially where I will be headed in the U.S.A, and I can hardly wait for that! I do ask that you will begin praying for this process. Pray that the LORD will give the Board the wisdom to make the right decision, and then place me exactly where GOD would have me. Not that they put me where my heart’s desire is, or where I feel I would fit in., but that they will trust the LORD and place me exactly where He would

have me serve Him. MIT will cost $5,000 and I am about $2,800 short of this goal. MIT costs include all the supplies to put me on the field—a new computer and printer, and the extra training to send me forth into the harvest! Thank you for your support as I continue running this race that the LORD has placed in front of me. Please pray that I will trust the LORD and faithfully run this race well,

for HIS GLORY ALONE!

the way I will run my personal ministry. I will be able to see things I love that a certain missionary does, and things that I would probably prefer not to do. One of the many awesome things about being a WOL missionary is how each missionary is unique in the way he ministers to others. During this internship I will also be given multiple opportunities to preach

the Gospel, teach teenagers and children Biblical truth, and will have abundant time to spend with the missionaries, so I can ask personal questions and garner advice for not just my ministry, but for my life. I cannot wait for this opportunity to follow godly men and get a taste for the ministry to which the LORD has

called me!

In February 2010 I will head out on a three-month internship with Word of Life Local Church Ministries. I will follow different missionaries for 1-2 weeks at a time, observing their ministry, family life, and their passions for the LORD. It is a great opportunity to learn firsthand what genuine missionary life will be like. It will also be a great opportunity to begin formulating

If there are things going on in your life for which you would like prayer, do

not hesitate to ask! It is a privilege and a blessing to pray for your needs!

We as Christians often resort to prayer as our last option, when in reality,

prayer should be our ONLY option! Let us never forget the power of prayer

and the rich blessing we have to pray for our brothers and sisters in the

LORD!
