OUR OWN NEEDS SECOND

COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND! The Catholic Communications Campaign

Connects people with Christ through media programming to

promote Gospel values. As people continue to access more

information on mobile devices, there is an increased need to

provide Faith resources on these platforms. Half of the funds

remain in our diocese to fund our local communication efforts.

The Catholic Home Missions Appeal

Assists 85 Home Mission dioceses in the United States.

They provide financial assistance for basic pastoral services

such as Mass, the sacraments and religious education

needed in communities.

Black and Native American Missions

Exist to build Christian communities among the Native

American, African American and Alaskan Native people in

the United States. Every penny collected is distributed as

diocesan grants to support and strengthen evangelization

programs..

The Catholic University of America

Is the National University of the Catholic Church. It offers

an excellent education guided by Catholic tradition. Every

donated dollar to this collection supports scholarships to

assist financially deserving students in completing their
