ENGLISH BAPTISM CLASS Our next baptism class for parents & godparents is scheduled for July 11 from 10:00am-12noon. St. Anthony Catholic Parish cares about the children coming to receive the Sacrament of Baptism by supporting, educating, and pre-paring the parents. Message from Fr. Tony, I’m pleased to announce that the Diocese of Dallas has authorized parishes to resume Sunday Masses. The Diocese allows Masses to begin as early as the weekend of 27 June. St. Anthony parish will begin our full weekend Mass sched-ule on Saturday July 4th. Our delayed start date is to allow for completion of health procedures that will minimize C19 exposure risk to attendees, and as-sess/solicit any additional volunteers we may need. As you are aware, our church will be limited to a 50% capacity level at the start. In addition, social distancing must be maintained. This results in a 400 limit to Mass attendees in the main church. It’s not just a capacity limit, but social spacing that is required for risk mitigation. So to further aid in distancing, depending upon attendance, we can use Fr. Pondant hall (video feed) as over-flow. Communion will be offered at both locations. In order to remain in compliance with local ordinances and diocesan guidelines, we will need to ensure capacity limits. We have identified options for control and are still evaluating implementation processes. Once our Parish processes are finalized, I will publish those procedures through Flocknotes, the Parish App, the Bulletin and Facebook. We will also provide some announcement at daily Mass prior to the July 4th start. Our Bishop continues to extend the dispensation from our Sunday obligation. So those who are uncomfortable or at risk should feel no pressure to attend in person. I will publish attendance procedures a week prior to our start. As noted above, these procedures may require additional volunteers to help in the role of ushers and extraordinary ministers. If the call goes out, prayerfully consider assisting with one of these ministries. Fr. Tony

"Me complace anunciar que la Diócesis de Dallas ha autorizado a las parroquias a reanudar misas dominicales. La Diócesis permite que las misas comiencen tan pronto como el fin de semana del 27 de Junio. La parroquia de St. Anthony comenzará nuestro horario de misas de fin de semana completo el sábado 4 de Julio Nuestra fecha de inicio diferido es permitir la finalización de los procedi-mientos de salud que minimizarán el riesgo de exposición al C19 para los asis-tentes y evaluar / solicitar cualquier voluntario adicional que podamos necesi-tar. BAPTISMS – Infants & young children through age 6 English baptisms are held on Saturdays at 6:00p.m. Baptismal preparation classes are held on the 3rdSaturday of each month from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. in St. Paul Hall room # 2.
