Young CEDA represents youthful CEDA members. It offers a unique network of young professionals in the field of dredging, representing research institutes, universities, industry, governmental authorities and consultants.

As Young CEDA, we want to involve young members in the CEDA organization by organizing activities such as technical excursions and seminars.

n October 2016, Lisbon, Portugal: Young CEDA Pitch Talks during Iberian conference ‘Dredging for Sustainable Port Development’

Our Mission StatementYoung CEDA dedicates itself to creating a platform for young members to express and present themselves whilst allowing for the opportunity to interact with older or more experienced fellow dredging enthusiasts and colleagues.

Furthermore, Young CEDA functions as a challenger and critical observer of the CEDA community and Board. Young CEDA actively participates in the organization of the CEDA Dredging Days, seminars and national meetings but also organizes its own activities.

Above all, Young CEDA helps to carry out the CEDA mission and objectives and is an ambassador for the dredging profession in general.

And last but certainly not least, Young CEDA wants you to have fun!!

Young CEDA is dedicated to informing students and young professionals, about dredging developments, and showing them the opportunities to work in the dredging and associated fields. Together with the Young CEDA Commission it is exciting to organize new and interesting activities that will involve as many young members as possible while at the same time introducing them to CEDA.
