to 14th of April 2016.

Jewellery Salon 2016 – Riyadh was inaugurated by HH Prince Sultan Bin Saud Bin Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. The event was held at the Al Faisaliah Hotel from 18th to 21st of April 2016.

For its 7th edition in Jeddah and 5th edition in Riyadh, Jewellery Salon 2016 hosted 50 international and local brands from 14 countries, including 8 brands, which are exhibiting in Saudi Arabia for the first time. These world-renowned brands displayed their most elegant and exquisite jewellery and timepieces.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTSSGL SEMINARS

Solitaire Gemological Laboratories (SGL) conducted 3 seminars in both Jeddah and Riyadh. The topics were: 4Cs of Diamond, How to Buy Your Jewelry, and Treated Diamond. All seminars were conducted by Mr. Shadi Al Mufleh, a Qualified Jewelry Specialist (QJS) and Diamond Grading Professional (DGP).

NEW DESIGNERSWith its aim to continue supporting the Saudi jewellery industry, Jewellery Salon 2016 became an avenue for young local designers to showcase their own brand and jewellery pieces. Jewellery Salon featured four designers in Jeddah and eight designers in Riyadh.

GIA - AJP DIPLOMA PROGRAM

The Accredited Jewelry Professional Diploma Program, offered by Gemological Institute of America, is a 5-day program which includes essentials of Coloured Stones, Jewellery and Diamonds. It was held concurrently with Jewellery Salon Exhibitions with 17 participants in Jeddah and 11 participants in Riyadh.

LIVE WORKSHOP

Dour Rami featured a live workshop in their stand, showing the craftsmanship it takes to turn metals and stones into intricate pieces of jewellery.
