FREE $25 Gift Card You may have heard in the news that Lo-blaws
is offering free $25 gift cards after it was discovered that they
were fixing bread prices for over a decade. Cards can be re-quested
at the link below. If you could ben-efit from that $25 worth of
groceries, we encourage you to claim it. But if you are able to, we
will be collecting gift cards in the office to donate to our after

It was great to cheer on our grade 5 students at the divisional
badminton tournament at Leila North. It was very im-pressive to
watch our students demonstrate an understanding of the rules and
strategies associated with badminton. More importantly it was great
to see them demonstrate sportsmanship and problem-solve when
determining if the shuttle was in or not. As the weather improves
we are hoping to begin cross country practices beginning early this
month. We will focus
on learning how to maintain a proper running technique while
also building our cardiovascular endurance for the
Early Year’s Cross-Country run on May 17th at Little Mountain
Park. We will also be looking forward to starting
intramural flag football as well. It is also in the works to
resume a spring after school tennis program! More infor-
mation to follow.

MYAC is a free activity program run at various Seven Oaks
schools. Starting April 3rd, they will be adding a 3:30pm to 5pm
time slot at École James Nisbet School to accommodate our grade 3

On April 11th, Ecole James Nisbet will be celebrating Pink Day.
Everyone is encour-aged to wear something pink in support of
anti-bullying. If you would like to learn more about Pink Day, you

Our fundraiser has begun. We are raising money for picnic

Dear Nisbet Families,
We will be starting free English classes for adults in April.
These classes are for parents, grandparents and other adult
family
members. They will focus on English language used at school.
Topics will include:
Week 1: Places in the building, the people who work here and
their roles
Week 2: Common Language Used in the School
Week 3: Using Parent Connect and Understanding the Report
Card
Classes will run on the following dates:
